Malabal Tor writ spot gone after 1.6 is this a bug?

    Vet or Non? Vet Writ spots only give the silent treatment now. (unless addressed in 2.0.4 tomorrow.)
    Due to a typo in the system, the area was accosted by the Daedric Prince Moar Lag Brawls.

    The one in Velyn Harbor? I have gotten writs from there post 1.6

    Two things to check:

    Is Malabal Tor in your home Alliance for that character? You only get Writs from zones in your home alliance

    Has it been 24 hours since you took your last Writ off the board?

    Have you turned in your last writ and it has been 24 hours since you pulled that from the board?

    Yes, there are 3 listed, but the 3rd is related to the second.

    Velyn Harbor yes and no its not my home Alliance .But before 1.6 i use to get them there,did thay change it?

    From what I can see, I can only get Writs from boards in my Home Alliance cities. Which makes sense as you are contributing to the War Effort, and you should not be helping out the enemy.

    1.6 changed a few things about Crafting Writs, one of them being you have to be L6 to qualify to do the Writs. Another may have been the enforcement of the Home Alliance criteria. This may have been different pre-1.6, I think my DC character did in fact get a writ from Velyn Harbor back then.

    You can also get writs from Craglorn. If you are VR and well setup, you can do all 6 writs in under 15 mins.

    Then you can spend the next 15 mins at how underwhelming the rewards for the smithing/carpentry/clothier writs are compared to the materials needed.

    They appear to have changed it to only areas that you can reach without quest unlock. Before, writs would go to cold harbor only if you'd unlocked it. Now they just stop at Rawl'kha, Riften, and Evermore based on home faction until you get to the top tier which is in Craglorn. Simplifies logic, but creates a burden for silver and gold participants since they have to leave the path just to get the writs.

    Ya im done with gold but love Velyn Harbor to bad i have to go elsewhere to do them.
