Please ZOS can we have a detailed explanation on how the score from trials are calculated please?

So at the moment there are many PvE guilds throughout the game who are very unclear on how this is exactly calculated.
From what we know is that score is calculated by; Time, No.deaths and use of synergies.
However trying to do the maths on number of deaths and time in 12 man trials seems to be different to that in Veteran Dragon star Arena.
All in all I'm not going to go into detail on what we have calculated because the results seem to differ, but it would nice if ZOS Moderators could give us a detailed explanation on how the scores are calculated, please, as there is a lot of people who are spending a lot of time in game trying to work it out rather than enjoying the game.
