Sharpened Trait?

Is this correct? I thought it was providing too much and that Nirnhoned was still broken.

Fixed an issue where the Sharpened Trait wasn’t providing enough armor or spell penetration

Yes, that caught my eye as well. Though I thought the issue wasn't so much sharpened itself but the fact that armor pen was applying to skills like force pulse that were based on the weapon you're using despite scaling with magicka/spell dam.

@ZOS_GinaBruno, are the patch notes for v2.0.4 right regarding sharpened?

Seriously @ZOS_GinaBruno , right now the sharpened trait is bypassing way way way too much spell resists basically making spell resists close to useless (the right combo and you can penetrate more than 22k spell resists which is more than 2/3rds the way to hard cap... that... is.... broken). This has been reported since 1.6 went in... please tell me this is a patch notes error and you meant to say reduced.

Ok, thanks for your patience, all. The wording for the Sharpened fix that went in with today's patch was a little misleading, so we want to clarify and make sure we're all on the same page.

Before today's patch, Sharpened was giving too much spell penetration. Today's patch (2.0.4) fixed this issue, and Sharpened will now scale correctly based on your item level. Also, for the record, Sharpened does give less spell penetration compared to Nirnhoned.

We'll update the patch note for Sharpened to reflect this info. Sorry for the confusion!

Thank you for the clarification Gina, very nice to hear you guys got it right (at least code wise ;) )
