Aedric spear line question

Cannot remember all patches history so the question is if Aedric Spear line skills use both spell and weapon crits (or use only one - spell crit for magika morphs and weapon crit for stamina morphs)?
So if it's goot idea to invest 30CP both in Apprentice & Ritual constellations for magika Templars.

I raised my spell damage yesterday and the magicak version of jabs started hitting harder so I assume crit, but that doesn't necessarily mean it in this game, even though they were tweaking this sort of thing to match.

I would have to test a few fights with and without magelight. and try to get a large enough sample to be sure.

If a skill uses magicka it uses spell power, max magicka and spell crit. If it uses stamina then it uses weapon power, max stamina and weapon crit.
