Why does EP & AD vs DC? Also why do you resort to Lag switch/glitch to win in PvP?

Specifically referring to Chillrend Server its the only server I have played in, this is an open question to the alliance between EP and AD. Why? Are you so desperate to beat down on DC that you can't make it a 3 way fight? And using server lag (switch or glitch) to defeat DC is just cheating, your killing PvP for everyone and you need to be banned, unfortunately Admin/Devels aren't doing anything about server lag but why kill PvP? We are just going to go back to PVE, Dungeons and AA runs there's plenty more to do in ESO. Just don't understand why you'd want to kill PvP

To be honest no one is really sure, but I just sum it has being Skyrim's fault given everyone loves the stormcloaks.

But this will go to a flame, and pointing fingers thread rather quick your a little new so be careful what you post on the pvp forums.

But some of the games top guilds are cross faction between EP and AD at-least Na server and this has been going on since late April last year

Whenever there are 3 sides in a fight, it will seem like it is 2 vs 1. There are many many many many many post about 2 vs 1 complaints, just wait and the tide will shift, again.

Welcome to PvP how can you have 3 way PvP its always 2 factions pushing one... this is nothing new go to any server. There is so much wrong with this statement its obvious you are newer to PvP. All factions have thier guilds that lag out the sever because of the builds and strategies they use. All i can suggest is try another server with a lower pop because ZoS is not going to fiz any of this for the time being... sad i know... but true

Give me a break, AD was getting pushed by both EP and DC when I logged on yesterday....but that was probably because we had most of the scrolls :o

Tonight in Chillrend AD seemed to be making a push for Emp, but DC was halting that for a good few hours with Aleswell, and EP still held BRK. Meanwhile, EP was ping ponging between BRK and SEJ against a large group of AD. Finally, AD overwhelmed us at BRK and EP was pushed back to Arrius. I said in ts, giving AD the benefit of the doubt for once,
"The group that took BRK will head to Aleswell if they're smart, and get Emperor."

Low and behold, I thought too highly of them, because storming through the field were the zerg of yellers with a visible hatred of anything Ebonheart burning in their eyes. It's almost ridiculous how often AD will show up and hit targets completely out of the way just because it's red. And how often one side of a red keep has AD siege, and the opposite side has DC siege. I understand there are some really Irritating Reds out there, and all we do is zerg and lagsploit, but this is AvAvA. Most of us EP have gotten used to Green VS Red now. But hey. In the end, just a bigger D tick for us.

There is a lot of personal BS going on behind the scenes, playes with hates for other players or guilds such that they will ignore the best strategic choices to go after a faction, guild or player instead... file under the heading 'people can be odd' and get back on your fire ballista.

Last EU TB I am pretty sure yellows could have won the campaign if they had focused on taking red keeps instead of going after blue home keeps even after our scrolls were gone but they obviously had something driving them and there is. Othong in the rules against poor strategy or alliances.

I understand we kept it until [snip] showed up and decided the map needed significantly more blue keeps on it.

Well, I don't have/never will have an Aldmeri PvP toon, so I'll have no way of knowing what the goal is for that faction during the night. But when they have 4 of the 6 imperial keeps, why in the heck are you not going to try and crown again, regardless of whether you had it the night before.

And I don't exactly know what you're talking about, each faction has its fair share of irritating players.

The odd thing is that DC on Chillrend is so unspeakably awful that there's no reason for the other Alliances to team up (a completely valid tactic explicitly intended in AvA design - that's why there's 3 factions), nor any reason to lag the servers.

DC is defeating itself due to the guild leaders there who simply like to have peons to zerg. I have repeatedly observed over many, many months group leaders who teach nothing whatsoever to their zergs. There's no stratagems, no thinking. Just auto-invite and run in a direction. It's the only zerging I've ever seen that is way, way less powerful than the sum of its parts.

You are being farmed, and laughed at. The only solution is to actually talk to your fellow zergball participants, reject the awful auto-invite group leaders entirely (they will go away if they don't have enough mindless peons, it's happened many times before) and ask someone who actually knows wtf they're doing to let you in on how AvA works.

I realize many people have been mis-educated by being on a buff server where no good PvPers ever tread for a long time. I know the feeling - my first campaign was Bloodthorn, and having would simply go lie near the EP gates to see if anyone would come along. Luckily I asked around and found out how things worked, found a good guild, and learned the ropes.

Before the other Alliances decided to come and (hilariously) farm your former buff campaign the last time I visited Chillrend I saw the zergmistress of that particular time happily watching her peons siege Nikel Outpost with ice trebuchets.

Intrigued, I got into their TS just to confirm that she was happy to receive her undeserving peons' adulation and nary a word was spoken of how to actually siege a place. Honestly, has anyone ever seen a group of ice trebs anywhere else?

At least Brandon had some basic AvA tactics, even though his officers spamming zone relentlessly did more harm than good, chasing anyone with even a tiny bit of maturity away from PvP the moment they set foot in Cyrodiil. This behavior is self-defeating, and you shall enjoy defeat until you wise up.

If your faction has scrolls, emp, or a keep in enemy territory, they will push you.

all 3 factions attack each other, thats the point of the 3. AD and EP wont allow DC to get emp and all scrolls and be like "hmm, maybe we should just fight each other and let DC have everything!"

I can attest to the general awfulness of the DC on Bloodthorn. If it wasn't a Terror/No Mercy squad, it was garbage. From players who can't remember how to spell their character's own names to ones who could only yell their own name in capitals to players who would literally just stand there as they were attacked/pain trained over without response.

Easy wins teach bad, lazy tactics in pvp. Some of the worst offenses being the attitudes a) throw more bodies at it or b) we'll just off hours cap it back.

Oh, and we EP reveled in the stomping those gate campers received every time the groups got formed and really rolling. They deserved every teabag, beatdown, and snide remark they received.

I created this post in order to get feed back from the other Alliances and that's what I got, many things have changed since making this post in game. In my opinion for the whole game it is much better, on the rare occasion when DC has dominated, taken Keeps and Scrolls it goes without saying AD and EP will make a push to take it back.

I have lost many many hours to Vet-PvP, on different servers and I will say I'm not very good at it because I don't spend every waking moment in PvP. I find because DC isn't as strong in PvP because of share lack of numbers team orange do beat down on DC for the easy kills, even following us from server to server. There have been many times in battle when AD and EP will completely ignore each other to smash DC. For me there is a clear Alliance, because we are on the receiving end of it.

There seems to be an encreasing list of things wrong with PvP, exploit builds, lag (switch) which conveniently strikes when defending which disables us all, wtf moments when 20 V14 toons can't damage an enemy toon. As much as I love ESO it's PvP is broken and boring for these reasons. It's sad because PvP used to be fun and an equal fight

On AS/pc/NA, Me and my friends run across 5 DC players that as soon as they show up instant lag, cant swap weapons cant even target them, nothing is working and it feels like your walking in mud, nothing else going on anywhere on the map, no large group around spamming anything, and it happens every time, you run across these players, very strange...

Just to point out the glory of NA AD for you, in case you don't understand it.

A fair bit of the time, which I guess you can define is more often than not... whoever is next on the emperor list is hated by X, Y, Z guilds. I guess it's mostly because they aren't in XYZ guilds, as I've seen some guys who are "next on list" who were generally helpful and active and not total pricks be referred to as such and denied assistance.

So just when you want to accuse AD of some sort of collaborations or cross teaming with factions that usually are doing it to AD, You might want to think about how AD is it's own worse enemy instead.

It literally happens so often you have to really wonder how all the psychos ended up on the AD side of hardcore pvpers.

In a way I'm relieved to hear this is'nt just a AD hating on DC issue that lag attacks happen to other Alliances as well at the worst time possible. Of course I'm sorry this is an issue for you too, just wish win or lose we could all enjoy the PvP experience again without these issues.

I see, AD do dominate but I never thought about the catch 22 they have with success, there dominant numbers and large tactical guilds would also mean the impossible chance of Emp unless your playing 24/7 and with the right guild who will support you. I'm glad I'm not AD can you imagine the in house fighting, Trolling in zone etc...doesnt sound fun to me

I'll admit it. On Haderus our alliance has an alliance with an AD alliance. Even so, we do not have enough sway to control each faction completely.

    Why team up on Daggerfall?

Cause I like Dragonclaw keep, and DC keep taking it from me.

But the alliance is only good until DC looses all their scrolls, then we kill each other.

Been spending more and more time in PvP, as a group with the guild I'm in Daggerfall Knights. Although the issues or exploits I mentioned above are still part of Vet-PvP we are enjoying success in a different way than I expected, it's a combination of time zone, great leadership from our experienced PvPers and team work, we have forged a tight group. Although small, we are taking on bigger groups and attacking or defending successfully. It's incredible watching the turn over of Keeps and Emp's as the time zones change and different countries have there stronger alliances.

It's going to be interesting to see the changes after update 7, V16's and new armour sets. Very exciting
