Im not denying you kicked some serious ass or that you dont know your stuff but i find it pretty sad playsytle, bolting at the first sign of danger, shield spamming, addons telling you when to do actions and animation canceling like a madman(which i despise even tho and sadly its a valid bug i mean mechanic), this gameplay seems to lack any sort of challenge other then having to hit keys at a fast rate.
No hate intended just my opinion. I also remember you killing my poor NB in a mere instant the other day, hopefully i meet you out in cyrodiil again and likely get my ass kicked but mayb i will learn something fighting one of the toughest sorcs out there.
Morf, noob Nb of the Daggerfall Covenant.
Animation canceling is something that everyone can use and benefit from.. Theres no reason to despise it when you can be doing it and its one of the most simplest mechanics to learn and figure out. This has been apart of almost every mmo i have played. I never understood how people can be mad about things they could be taking advantage of also. Am i wrong?
which MMO's were they exactly? i played every AAA MMO since SWG and dont remember animation cancelling being a thing.. most had ability cooldowns which negates being able to spam anything much. it was usually about rotations rather than spamming light/heavy attacks between one or 2 skills..
ye thats about it in a nutshell, i,m cool with the fact some folk feel the need to use addons like that or pop potions every second they move in cyrodill ,, but then posting video's where we,re supposed to stroke their epeens about ?
na sorry i won't drink that cool ade

I am a sorcerer as well since early beta and i drop 20k damage instantly with 5 attacks almost hitting simultaneously. If you dont block, its gonna hurt. This takes time to charge up, but when I see the reflect on your bar with heavy armor and sword and board regen, and you are hitting for 17k on a frag, Im beginning to wonder...
It's just about stacking spell dmg + magicka. I use drink instead of food, but my build isn't a "regen build", I go for a balance between all 3 (regen/magicka/spell dmg). If I was just going for a regen build, I'd have around 3k regen. Also, I'm often running 5 light / 2 heavy instead of my 5 heavy / 2 light you're thinking about.

Its hilarious how absurd you sound right now. You are a massive hater. You have something against people popping potions too rofl. I love how you bring up WoW and i know damn well you didnt do no endgame rading in vanilla WoW. You have no idea what you are talking about.

I just dont understand how your crystal frags hit so hard with only 1700 spell damage. did you invest heavily in the champion skill that raises magic, poison, disease dmg?

His high magicka and focus rating might have something to do with it.

they dont crit hard compared to other peoples, you just havent been hit hard by any yet
Try getting 30k magicka, you should notice the dmg increase.I have 2462 spell damage (~2800 with entropy) and 25k magicka and even with might of the guild my frag crits are around 15k
Nope. Not 1v1 without pew pewers in stealth. People like Sabre Ali and Sypher are a challenge to fight, but there aren't many like that who are hard 1v1. Tons of ppl are hard to kill 1v1 but it doesn't translate to hard to stay alive against.@Teargrants Very impressive footage. I gotta ask ... do you ever get wrecked 1 vs 1? Like for example maybe you aren't locked in paying attention and you attack someone and they just wipe the floor with you? I just had to rage log cause this NB had his way with me. Now, if I had known he was a good player I probably would have worried about keeping my distance more but the NB charge, plus Wrecking Blow, plus Soul Tether ripped me a new one all while I was trying to break free.
Only reliable non resto self heal as a sorc. That way I can have reflect on my off bar too.Joy_Division wrote: »Teargrants -
Why do you slot necrotic orb (I dont remember what the "heal" version is called) as a solo roaming sorc? Nice video compilation btw.

You recommend dropping spell damage for max magicka then?
Within reason. I can up spell dmg to 2300 on sword/shield but get dropped to 25k mag. Or lose 300 spell dmg and get 30k mag. Dmg doesn't feel different in either, but more magicka means bigger resource pool and bigger shields.Teargrants wrote: »Try getting 30k magicka, you should notice the dmg increase.
