Immediate crash upon pressing Play on the launcher after a fresh install. I just purchased and installed the game. Since then I've tried to ameliorate the problem by performing the following:
- Installed and re-installed 3 times on different hard drives
- Run as admin in both launcher and stand-alone exe file
- Run in XP SP-2 and SP-3 compatibility mode
- edit UserSettings.txt
- Repair
I've read and tried many fixes. Strangely, the UserSettings.txt file was not present in the Live folder so I created a new one to no avail. This leads me to believe that some files were not copied during the install however repair did not fix the issue. Any assistance would be extremely helpful as I have not even seen the opening cinematic or been able to create a character as yet. Thank you
