What if siege was prioritised like heals?

So in laggy situations heals go through, but damage as a whole stops.

What if siege damage was prioritised line heals? Would it lend to much advantage to defenders or the numerically superior? Maybe it'd make the lag less of an issue?

The lag is also clearly related to the 1.3 lighting change. Pop caps have been going down ever since. #Revertlighting.

They officially announced during one of their ESO live sessions that in private testing they reverted the lighting changes to see if that helps, and it did not.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but they are.

It's not just the lighting changes from that incremental patch, but the full patch. The anti-cheat calculations that are being done against every client that began in that patch are ruining the latency. I used to play ESO (same IP and physical location as in 1.2) with a ping of ~34 and now I never see it drop below ~120ms. That is the problem.

They have also said that a lot of things actually work in private testing and it turns out they do not.
"it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days." - Matt Firor
