I personally think adding in other virtual items which can be earned by completing achievements is a great way to encourage their completion. I don't think achievements need to compete with the Crown Store of course, but a few unique mounts or costumes to recognize achievements would greatly increase everyone's interest in completing these.

Even unlocking access to a private lounge in a certain tavern would be cool if you want to make it location based.

I also think that we should work in some rare items which can be fished up like a rare mount or something could be a lot of fun to work towards. I know this is taken directly from another game, but it works and can be a lot of fun.

What do you guys think?

Costumes would be fantastic. Cosmetic toys like something to make you turn into a ghost until combat. Some funny lore-friendly stuff too.

I'd kill for a pipe animation.

I would like to see more titles awarded for in game achievements. The only thing that is missing is a pet herald who ill ollw you around and proclaim all your titles to anyone within earshot.

As long as the "rewards" wouldn't affect gameplay- as in, they stay purely cosmetic, sure.

If it becomes a "everyone has to be a completionist to compete" type of scenario, then no- I would disagree.

Id like to see more titles. There are too few titles in the game.

I get the sarcasm, but you did hit on a key point. I want ZOS to be able to make money from the Crown Store. It's important for the games future that it be profitable. Each time a new art asset is created and used for an achievement the potential profit from the Crown Store is lost. However, if each person working on the achievement keeps playing for two additional months and while doing so continues to buy consumables and convienance items and because of their accomplishments feel more invested in the game and therefore continues to play then it's well worth it.

This is why I'm open to more powerful items being unlocked by achievements such as 3 champion points. You can't sell champion points in the shop, but you can gate them behind an achievement wall. This is of course just an example.
