Which Provisioning Ingredients to Keep?

djynn1_ESO
Sorry if this has been discussed - I didn't see an answer. As I increase my Provisioning level are there ingredients that are only used for low-level recipes that I can just throw away when I get them? It looked like the same ingredients are used for both low level and higher level recipes in some cases.

Is there a list updated for 1.6 of all the recipes with the ingredients they use? None of the lists I found were dated so I couldn't tell if they were post-1.6 or not. No, I don't use AddOns since I have lag issues I'm trying to figure out.

If you get the Addon Sous Chef, it will tell you what recipes each ingredient is used in. Of the ones you know. This addon has no performance impact, and is essential to the Provisioner.

As for what ingredients to keep, I find that there not really any "level specific" main ingredients, but there are ingredients that are just used in Blue or Purple recipes.

Here is the list of the recipes and ingredients for you to digest.

Thank you for the list. As I thought the same ingredients are used for all the levels. Maybe I'll just not worry about stat recovery recipes until higher levels and I get more inventory.

Provisioning Writs are the way to get Food Ingredients. Even at L1 you will get 3 to 4 5/10 stacks of ingredients for each writ you turn in, plus a recipe. Higher levels even more stacks. The recipes are often the Blue and Purples you want to use anyway. I have 6 characters doing these, and, I keep a stock of the various stuff that is asked for. So, I log into the mule, go to the board, grab the writ, turn it in, less than 3 minutes. I might actually cook something twice a week across my 6 characters doing these.

If you don't know how to cook something, you can always find the food or drink, if not the recipe, at a guild kiosk somewhere. Might have to visit a few on some recipes, but buy a 10 or 20 stack, and you will be set.

My main concern is the inventory space that the ingredients take up. So I was trying to decide what ingredients to bother keeping. I guess I can create more mules for bank space but I only have 3 characters right now and I already spend time going to the bank with each of them to deposit things they got that are for another character.

    But thanks for the info.

Ah yes, the old Mule/Bank/Character Inventory Shuffle.....

One of the reasons I made one of my Mules a Provisioner, the same one who carries all the ingredients.
