First off, yes Bank Spaces are expensive and have limits. This is not what this thread is about.

As the game has been out almost a year now, I was wondering just how many have maxed the bank space as I just did that this week. So, I was wondering just how long it took every one else, or if they have.

After one year i'm at 150 and I've heard that the max is 210 or something like that.

Maxed the Bank in the first 6 months

I maxed mine quite quick, but I took a break from ESO for a long time so not sure what counts as my answer. It was not difficult, altho I did not spend gold on anything but bag/bank upgrades.

Maxed the Bank in the first 6 months

My bank is maxed out (240 slots), my bag space is maxed out on my main (with 60 extra capacity from my riding skill, so a total of 170 slots), and all of my alts have 100 bag slots plus 35ish capacity from riding skill (except for one alt who has the full 60 extra from riding). So I guess I've got a total of 1,380 inventory slots.

That's on my main account - on my second account I've only upgraded the bank space up to 100, and the bag space of the characters up to 80, with no horse upgrades.

It's been pretty much a year since I started ESO (and I've had no lax in my sub), and I'm still at 100 bank slots. >.> It's difficult for me to earn gold and get stuff I need, so even though I would really like more bank space, I just can't make it a priority.

I think it should be increased to 250. I do a lot of crafting and I'm always running out of space and have to store items on my Alts.

Did it in about six months, with some breaks in playing during that.

Money came from vendor trashing PVP rewards, doing games content and lots and lots of PVP. I didn't convert any AP into Gold either which would have been faster.

As long as you're playing the game, it doesn't take that long. Just sell everything, buy little and you should get it done in a good time, maybe faster.

It has been easier to use mules as extra bank space. But recently I've been doing writs so I am starting to add space again to hold all the raws. I am up to 170 atm.

It's not that I didn't have it before now, it was more of the 'Dang...85k??' factor...

I got to 180 bank slots and am spending gold on other things. Really had no issues with inventory after about 120. Of course, I have all my character slots and almost all the bags maxed.

I kind of like to horde. The best items in the game are the quest rewards with cool names. Like Ratsplatter.

I stopped at 150, with all alts maxed out and horse upgrades i did not see the point to upgrade further.

Main reason is that i dont trust zos to not lose my items, many people lost slots and stuff when the banking bug was there at the beginning so that put me off it for a long time.

Yeh I was one of the first ones in my original guild to get it maxed. That last 85k...bleh but I was glad to get it done.
Have Imperial edition so wasn't spending tons on horses for several alts so I think that helped. Bank was a priority for me as I started crafting right away to help my guildies out with gear and such.

And I thought I was crazy obsessive. <grin>

Mostly my main account characters are up to 80--90 slots, on my second account characters are mostly 70-80 slots, banks both at 110 (I think), but I'm broke all the time, so it's not gonna change soon.

I stopped long ago at 120 bank slots and though I could afford to upgrade it further I just can't part with so much gold for just 10 more slot increments.

Stopped at 150 for now. I have max bag space on both my main characters. Once I start running into storage issues again, I'll likely upgrade. It's a lot cheaper to just have 4 mules. Until I have lots of extra gold laying around or decide to make another alt and need the character slot, I'll just keep the mules. Come to think of it, if I sold all the materials I have on my mules, I could probably max out my bank.

Same, guess it's good to know it goes up to 240.

I only increase when I start to need more space, getting close again. I was 100-120 for the longest time.

That's why I'm sitting at 210 right now.

Since 1.6 greatly alleviated my inventory problems and I have come up with a good system for which toons hold what kind of mats/gear, I think I can hold out for a while.

Maxed the Bank in the first 3 months

I currently have all maxed at 240 in bank slots, and 170 each player for a total of 1600 slots. The bank I did in the first three months.. the players took me about 10 days past 1.6 because they were all maxed before the patch and only had to add 10 each.

My bank on the NA server is 220 and it took me.....oh hell, I can't remember a time when it wasn't an issue.

On the EU server I stopped at 170 but I play two characters there with all the other character slots filled with mules.

I'm used to Ultima Online, where I still have 6 accounts. Each character has its own bank. Each account can have a house, and each house routinely has space for 4500 items.

The storage parsimony of the contemporary online game bewilders me to no end.

With eight characters, all contributing to buying bank space and holding inventory, and being really disciplined about inventory management, I stopped upgrading at 140. That turned out to be more than enough as long as I'm not stupid about what I put in my bank and what I keep in character inventory.

I'll still buy more, I'm sure, simply because there's nothing else worth buying in game. So, maybe two years from now (if the game survives that long, and I have my doubts) I might max out.

I just finally hit 220, so im close. I was at like 180 for the longest time but ive been using the money i make from selling stolen goods to up my bank space slowly.
