Someone Please! write a LFG addon, Zenimax is taking far to long in fixing the in-game version!

This is sad, real sad, the LFG tool should be on the top of the list because for many the LFG system not working is game breaking for those with limited time, so I am asking will someone shame Zenimax and write a LFG addon, really something has to be done, it's like that old saying "If you want something done right do it yourself" but in this case I am asking you code monkeys to do what Zenimax can not.

I think ESO should just employ or have a contest, like GW2 did for a program that lets people track stuff in Wow (kinda like our alliance)
We got a great app from that and winner got a nice prize. Heck, even just promise like 5k Crowns as reward. Just SOMETHING

Even an external web site or a mobile app would do a better job than the current in-game LFG tool. If people just got the names of some other people who were interested in grouping up, I think most could easily stand typing their names in the console.

3rd party programms outside game is compleately different thing. Phone app, or website would require you to register and log-in there separately. Problem with that scenario would be the limited player number - just those using that app. It would be more beneficial if all LFG functionality would stay ingame. The only question is how it can be done. For this to be made by add-on developpers there has to be some API changes. Which would also require game development team work. And LFG tool will be limited to API functionality.

My point was that there are useful support services that can be done entirely outside of the API. A lot of people are on TeamSpeak, because it is very useful. Everyone and their dog uses Minion, because it solves a very common and very real problem with installing and updating add-ons. If someone were to write a separate tool that solves the grouping problems, chances are that word would spread in zone and guild chat, and people would use it.

Of course I would prefer a working in-game LFG tool. Making API changes to support an LFG add-on could actually be a lot more work than actually fixing the tool, so I really don't think that's an option. Why is it such a problem for them to design and create a useful grouping tool that works?

Not all use SAME teamspeak server, Minion is of very limited usage (I for one don't use it, nor I plan to), there is also Curse community which doesn't use Minion. In the enda LFG has to be tied to people that are ingame and ready to participate, my point is - if there is anything to be done - it has to be done by ESO devs first.

Been ages since I played GW2, but back in the day http://www.gw2lfg.com/ was what we would use to find groups. Right now... 3 entries on it, but it is 6am also. Now if someone made an ESOlfg.com... that would be sweet.

Plus few things :

- There is no additional reward in using LFG tools. Generally players got a bonus (stats or advanced loot)
- In most MMO's I've played, LFG tool is 99% built by developper. It's not somethig addon autothrs can easily work on
- It will themepark teso a bit more and maybe zos don't want it.

Plus, it's almost impossible for addons to communicate between each other and a LFG tool will require this.

So not before next big update
