Did you notice that now when you put your cursor over someone, your character turn his head in this direction?

I'm pretty sure it was not the case a few days ago (or I'm getting old..^^)

I know...it's a detail...

I'm still not sure if it's only on the client side. I'll have to verify that. Anyway..it's great. I think it does add life to the character!

I love that!

There are many little things in the game that blows me away compared to static models and animations from other MMOs.

The only other little thing I wish was added would be context idle auto-emotes. AKA, when you stand around long enough idle, your character will automatically starting playing an Emote or loops that fits with the current surroundings.

You afk at night on a not so well lite path, Your character does the /torch emote. Are you standing by a wall? /LeanSide or if that wall is damaged... /HammerHigh

You get the idea :) Over all, ESO is a beautiful game

I like the "context idle auto-emote" idea. I suggested something quite similar a few weeks ago here on the forums. Maybe they can try to add that in some specific case: quests, unique locations etc..

I think they will continue to add many little things like that ;)

    Greetings folks!

First of all, thanks a lot of the compliment and the positive feedback! And indeed, little things like that can make the immersion outstanding in a MMO.

Feel free to continue sharing your ideas about the game with us!

My favorite is still the way the characters react to spinning them in character creation. I really shouldn't enjoy tormenting my character as much as I do.

Whichever dev came up with that.... you are awesome.

TBH the head turning thing has been done in many MMOs, its just one of those things like the OP said never get noticed. Not to take anything away from Zenimax though. Like Hugo said its all the little things that go to help immersion and make a better game. Kudos to Zeni for such things, may they continue to do so !

I've noticed that too and love it! However, one thing I wish is that it could show on other players' screens as well. Even though you hover your cursor over someone and your toon turns his or her head to look at the person, that action will only show on your screen apparently, so you can't see other toons turning to look at your character.

Yes, its a really cool feature and add tons of immersion.

Would you please, ZOS, add the possibility to sit on chairs and lay on beds? At least sit on chairs...I said this a thousand times in beta times...

Is that difficult? There are gorgeous vistas and benches or chairs exactly in the perfect position to just sit and contemplate the landscape...

Is THAT difficult? I mean, the player headtracking should be imho a lot more difficult and it's implemented.

I would love more environment interaction for sure. Benches, Chairs, Ladders, Beds, Tables etc. Should be able to go on a chair and type /sit and have them sit on that chair properly. :disappointed:

    One thing I noticed today.

I was levelling my sorcerer in Deeshan, and suddenly paused while running along to capture a screenshot. I find ESO tends to just suddenly display its landscape in such a way that makes me stop and admire the scenic beauty.

Anyway, I had stopped on a pathway underneath a swinging lantern. Not only could I hear the creaking of the lantern gently swaying in the breeze, but also what sounded like a fly trapped inside it.

Was an unexpected and delightful moment. As you rightly said, its the details....

Something I noticed since 1.6 is that during character creation you can now just hop to the next voice option and play it without having to wait for the previous one to finish playing. Very much appreciated.

I just noticed that when you cross under a bridge, you can hear the echos of clip - clop of the horse's hooves. That is amazing. While they did a crappy job at class balancing, the details of this game are awesome.

The little things do make a huge difference. For instance - raining at all times for every session I play without it stopping once; for hours. Makes a huge impact to not want to log in. So dreary.

Actually I have noticed other players turn their heads to look at me when arriving on the scene. Particularly those who show up to distract me from opening a chest or gathering a node, so I know they see what I'm doing.

@OP I love this as well. I think it's awesome that they went to such lengths to really enhance the gameplay experience, instead of making it "just another clone" MMO.

I still wish they had left the "class" system open like the TES games... where you level whatever skill lines you wish (even if it was slower, you still had the option and weren't locked out of it) but I suppose we don't always get everything we want.

The game is beautiful... right down to the sunspots, lighting flares, shadows, colors, etc. I upgraded my video card recently and noticed a dramatic improvement to playing from launch. Really does show the details.
TL;DR - If you got this far without reading the entire post you're either too lazy or suck at reading comprehension and probably don't belong in a public forum anyway. Just move along, you wouldn't understand.

It did that in beta. Many mmo's do this when you target something. (even old ones like SWG). It is a nice feature. For me the small things are always what makes the game fun.

Yeah, I noticed way back at the start.

The other thing I like is when someone is looking in their inventory you see them rifling through their bags or when looking at their map, they hold it up and read it.

These I never seen in any mmo. Yes, as an emote, but searching through bags, looking at a map or scroll made me smile when I first saw it.

Interesting! Someone said they had tested this with their spouse a few months ago, they were standing right next to each other and moused over each other's toons, and they couldn't see one toon looking at the other on their separate screens. Maybe it was fixed/updated?
