A little suggestion?: walking with weapon

Ahhem... Hi there, long time no see, i have returned recently and i noticed we have a very nice 'walk with stave' animation for healer staves. (if you dont know take a healing staff, unsheathe and stand, you'll get it)
Okay i know it might sound a bit like a rant, but i always hated what wow culture bringed to fantasy games such as this (and frankly i even start to seeing these kind of things in single player games too, so extra irritating), namely "sheathe your walking stick to your back like its some sort of pole or totem" deal. You know, instead using like a cane to balance our long walks like a sane person...
Since we kinda allready have a nice idle and walking animation for staves, can't we please please please please get rid of the sheathe your staff to your back thing? I mean i can't be the only one that upset with this, am I =/?
i like to end my post with a heartswaying reference: you would not part an old man from his walking stick, would you?

Never really thought about this, but you make a good point. Staves on the back really doesn't make much sense at all. The running animation would have to be similar to the wielded animation, though. Running with a staff in the same way that you're proposing the walking animation wouldn't exactly be practical. I'm not sure they would entertain the thought of something like this at this stage in the game, except maybe if they put idling/running animations as purchasable in the crown store.
