Great thread - I especially admire and love the ones that are lore-appropriate and yet still funny!

I've not attained that ideal myself, though.

I made one mule as close to an Orangutan as I could make him, to look after my motifs and maps: TheLibrarian.

Another was named by Sheogorath himself: Puppy-Killer!

Personally I don't usually pay attention to "funny" names, as I dislike stuff that damages my immersion.
The ones who do seem lore-appropiate at first glace yet still funny (or become funny when you look more closely) though... thouse always get a secret little smile from me.

I tried to have lore appropriate fun with my names. Considering you often get names as children, I remembered my children and made:

Odd thing is....the name of that particular Bond girl was featured in a movie that was rated PG, methinks. This game is NC-17, iirc...which equates to an R rating back in the day.

I'd think copyright infringement would be the only reason that particular name would be disallowed, rather than it's sexual innuendo.

Off thread, but yes, the forum censorship goes too far IMO. We cannot repeat things that come directly from the game without being censored. I can understand not allowing f-bombs and abuse, but sexual innuendo doesn't need to be a no-no. Sex is as natural as breathing, time to deal with it and stop the stupid paranoia about it. I blame it on cowards and lawyers.
