I was streaming last night and noticed this starfish sitting on top of a hill in Cyrodiil, Just a little off from the center of Roebeck, Alessia, and Faregyl.

Any thoughts on what the Devs are hinting at? maybe underwater combat in a future patch? </troll> or did someone just misplace it with the object editor?

oh, and no sponges with pants were spotted in the area either.

    Look underneath the starfish...

"There was madness in any direction... You could place camps anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning...

And that, I think, was the handle—that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of lag and staff meta. Not in any melee or stamina sense; we didn’t need that. Our bat zerg would simply prevail... We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave...

So now... you can go up on a steep hill in Cyrodiil and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark—that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back."

I thought there was 10 of theses Cyrodiil, if you mark them on a map they form two lines (5 in a row and the other 5 in a row)
I will see if I can find the old post about the guy who found them all.

Fossils found on mountaintops indicate that the land area was once underwater.

But fossils don't normally sit ON TOP OF the grass.

Theses are not fossils (white hard mineral) but starfish that are alive or only been dead for a short while. (still got the flesh) And if the form perfect lines (5 in a row over a large area) they had to be placed there for a reason.

Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

Ultimately, any method of entering an enemy keep without breaking down the door is considered an exploit. Thanks for checking!

    The only possible explanation

Hopefully that doesn't count as a conspiracy theory, cause aliens are real, khajiit are from the moon right?

There doesn't seem to be much forum history on this though, at least through search.

Random misplaced object, just one of hundreds out there. Why exactly does this particular one deserves its very own forum topic?

You actually find shellfish on top of mountains. Strangely enough it is actually common.
