After recent update deployment, I'm getting this damn bug in my launcher cant do anything, repaired and its showing again, after this update!!
Before it was ok, how can I fix this and I'm not going to redownload the whole game again...

Don''t hit the "repair" button, just close the launcher and re-open it and you should get the "play" button back. You may need to close and re-open it a couple of times but once is usually enough.0 -

Skafsgaard✭✭✭✭Update: I let the repair finish and still got the error. A couple of launcher restarts seemed to have fixed the issue, like others suggested.

Keep killing the launcher and start it again, eventually you shall see the PLAY button. When you do NOT repair the game but close and re-open the launcher, it might be playable already; though on my end it takes up to 3 attempts to get the PLAY button.

With some previous patch I had the same kind of error.
I clicked repair and had to wait until the launcher downloaded a huge amount of data, unpacked it and then merrily showed the same error and suggested repair again.
Fool me once shame on you.
Anyway, I just closed the launcher and started the game manually from the exe file in ESO install folder. The game was patched, just launcher was stupid enough not to know it.Edited by xarguideb17_ESO on March 31, 2015 9:17AM0 -

It doesn't force you to do so, just close the launcher and re-open it. If, even if it takes a couple of goes, you then get the "play" button you are good to go!
You can also run the game, assuming it's patched, from the ESO application file in the game folder.
The manifest error report is a common bug after patching, and usually goes away after a couple of days. That doesn't mean there aren't occasionally more significant issues, but try the workaround before investigating them.Edited by Tandor on March 31, 2015 8:14PM0 -

✭✭Getting this error over 24 hours since downloading the new patch. Played yesterday with no problems whatsoever. Two shortcuts on my desktop. One from the exe & the other from launcher. After repairing both shortcuts, the one from the launcher works, while the exe. shortcut keeps giving the same error.
