Some of my most memorable fights happened in delves looking for skyshards, achievements, and collecting mats.
Some of the terrain/chokes/LOS in those delves is amazing, and I welcome this fully. There is one specific cave in mind I hope the majority dont flood, as its a paradise for my playstyle 1vX.

ESO is only the second game I've ever enjoyed PVP in, but only because it feels like it means something. Gank squads and AP faming on the bridge, however, are exactly the kind of sheer, unadulterated awfulness that drove me away from PVP in every other game. It's meaningless; it's boring; and there's a whole lot of people reveling in being *** to each other.
Let's welcome this behavior to delves! Woo-hoo, what could be more fun than fighting your way to the bottom of a delve only to be a cheap source of AP for a group of gankers--and having to respawn at a keep instead of using a gem or the delve shrine?
Plainly, I'm in a minority here. This is a very popular step--though I notice there hasn't been a lot of lauding the actual AP bonus so much as there's been bragging about all the murdering and farming that's going to happen. Classy.
In today's soon to be released patch notes.........
We're currently looking at a few more hours of downtime for today's maintenance. In the meantime, here's a fun new note to whet your appetite:
If you contribute to killing a boss in a Cyrodiil delve, you will now be granted a 60-minute AP buff which increases your AP gains by 20%.
Note: While this buff will be visible in areas outside of Cyrodiil, it will only be active while in Cyrodiil.
Zerg through Delves than on to keeps?
Already see an increasing number of players in the delves that were never there before. I even got ganked by AOE Barbecue and one of his friends in a Cropsford delve.

Most likely, yes.
I wonder if this isn't a typo of some sort and should have been XP. You know there are players who will want that buff constantly as much as possible. Your last keep is under attack and half of the troops are out trying to kill a delve boss in the boonies. I'm thinking this isn't such a good idea.
You want to delve without being ganked? There are 17 zones and hundreds of delves *Dedicated* to this.
You want the excitement, the *expectation* of being ganked while delving? Come to Cyrodiil.
I don't see the problem here.
I'm going to put together the Sorcs-R-us group and turn the inside of the zone-in to the most popular delves into a minefield that would put the Korean Demilitarized Zone to shame! Bragging about the people you're going to murder is second only to the act of "Murdering" them itself.

I've engaged in PVP in delves and towns before, and I enjoyed myself. The heightened sense of fear of doing PVE in a PVP zone is part of the experience and part of the fun. I would never deny that.
I really enjoy fighting over keeps and resources and scrolls, and I even enjoy random skirmishes that crop up between groups while traveling. But a good fight and a gank aren't the same thing. In fact, they're opposites. Good fights are fun for both sides. Gankers get enjoyment by harming someone else's enjoyment.
I get it as a legitimate tactic in sieges--keep the enemy from being able to get to the fight and all that. But I have never joined a gank squad and I never will, because I try not to be an ***. I'm not super fond of *** behavior spreading out across the game. I'm even less fond of ZOE encouraging it.
Further illustrating my point:
I'm going to put together the Sorcs-R-us group and turn the inside of the zone-in to the most popular delves into a minefield that would put the Korean Demilitarized Zone to shame! Bragging about the people you're going to murder is second only to the act of "Murdering" them itself.
and what is with the "you cant get out of a delve when the campaign is full" bug? This is a huge problem..

A lot of them have 7-9 hour timers.
