20% AP Buff for Killing Boss In Cyrodiil Delves

In today's soon to be released patch notes.........

We're currently looking at a few more hours of downtime for today's maintenance. In the meantime, here's a fun new note to whet your appetite:

If you contribute to killing a boss in a Cyrodiil delve, you will now be granted a 60-minute AP buff which increases your AP gains by 20%.

Note: While this buff will be visible in areas outside of Cyrodiil, it will only be active while in Cyrodiil.

    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    Already see an increasing number of players in the delves that were never there before. I even got ganked by AOE Barbecue and one of his friends in a Cropsford delve.

    Can you take out Delves with siege? I thought that was the only style in Cryodil now?

    This is certainly an unexpected change for PVP. I wonder if the timers for bosses have been changed as some of them have very slow respawn rates.

    Haven't tried that one. Most bosses aren't difficult. Funny idea though.

    Few days ago I was putzing around Brindle with a fire ballista, found some goblins and blasted them with it and got the XP soooo maybe?

    Huh? The Cyrodiil Delve I farm respawns bosses every 5-10 minutes.

    I know all the jokes people will make about this change, but there will be more people in delves now, which equals more people to kill in other areas, which is a good thing.

    That has been fixed on a vast majority of them if not all, and that was a long time ago. Got the zone completion achieve very easily on my latest character.

    It also says "A" boss, not clear all bosses like for the achieve.

    There are what... 15 or 16 delves spread out across all faction areas? Multiple bosses are in most of them, what's the big deal?

    Huh? The Cyrodiil Delve I farm respawns bosses every 5-10 minutes.

    Overall the bosses will respawn every 10 minutes - some delves, particularly, the ones with 4-5 bosses will only spawn certain bosses every 6th or 7th cycle. Haven't been down there in a couple of patches, so it could have changed but I don't expect it has.

    Yeah, good luck leaving a delve when the pop is locked. You can't warp out, /stuck takes you back to the beginning, and any support ticket will be number 6,000,000,000 in their long list of *** they should fix.

    Yup I've already got enough footage of ganking people and groups in delves to make a video by itself. Its great to bring a bit of pvp excitement to my pve cp grind.

    Sounds like a great change, but I think there's a flaw in it.

    Last time I checked entering a delve is effectively removing you from Cyrodiil. When you try to leave the dungeon, if the Cyro population is locked, you get a message saying:
    "The location you are travelling to has population controls in place"....or something to that effect.

    Your only option in that case is to teleport to a buddy somewhere outside of Cyro and queue all over again.

    Imagine going into a PvP Delve, killing the boss, getting the 1-hour buff, then getting kicked out and placed in a queue for 40 mins :)

    Looks good on paper, but won't people just hit the dungeon closes to the main camps once they port in then continue on?

    Yes they are going to have to make a change to this. At the very least the AP buff should not start ticking until you actually enter Cyrodiil.
