Don't many (if not most or all) SE Asian isps route their Internet traffic through the U.S. to get to Europe? 400ms latency looks respectable for Internet traffic going more than halfway around the world. You can check yourself by doing a traceroute.
From SG to NA server about 250. Had some temporary spikes to 500 and once to over 1000, but generally very stable.
@heng14rwb17_ESO I'm with Starhub at the moment but contemplating a switch to Singtel. I've gone completely off M1 based on my mobile experience with them. I hope for your sake that their internet service is vastly better...
Nice to see other Singaporean gamers in ESO =P, tho I don't play on the EU server.
I'm with Singtel here, my ping to US is around 290-ish on a normal day, but recently it has been going up to around 400+ regularly. At times, while PVPing it spikes up to 999+ (but that's for everyone, not just me).
I've spoken to my guildies from Australia/NZ and they seem to have around 300-400 ping as well, so that's about the normal ping for us non-US players on this side of the earth playing on the US server.

Well that depends on which part of Asia you're talking about. If you're closer to east Asia, NA would be the best choice. If you're closer to the west side, maybe EU would be better.
