Deleting Lib Addon Menu profiles?

Is there a way to delete profiles for addons that use Lib Addon Menu?

I've got 4 addons that use it and all of them list profiles for every character I've had since installing those addons, including ones which have been deleted. I'd really like to cut it down to just the 5 I still have, but I can't find any way to do that.

I don't mind if they're all saved in one file and I have to delete them all and re-create them for the characters I have (assuming this won't reset the settings that are currently loaded).

It's not a LibAddonMenu problem, but your addons settings one.

1) What are the addons which are problematic ?
2) Two solutions for solving this problem.

- Use notepad (or better notepad++) and edit Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables\NameOfYourAddon.lua, search for your character name inside it, you'll need to delete its whole block (can be very large depending on addons) - see the link under.
If it's not a problem for you, you can delete the file itself.

- Or use another addon, like http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info942-ZgoowithSavedVarsandDelete.html
Then you'll need to do /zgoo NameOfYourAddon. But We'll need to have the name of your addons in order to help you, because it's not always like this.

The ones where I've noticed this happening are Azurah and Srendarr.

That's the thing that made me think it was related to LibAddonMenu: I was only seeing it with addons that use it and therefore use the Profiles option, and because some addons had profiles for characters I had deleted before installing them. For example Srendarr which I only installed fairly recently has a profile for my very first character.

But having poked around in the .lua files using Notepad I think I have a better grasp of what's going on. For a start I found one for an addon I had uninstalled ages ago. By uninstalled I mean I deleted it from my addons folder, I missed the .lua because it was saved separately. So some addons like Azurah which I installed, uninstalled and then reinstalled later on have profiles going back longer than I realised.

I've used notepad to delete the extra profiles now and it seems to have worked (and everything else in the game is still working).

For future reference, so I don't have to go through all the files each time I delete a character if I just delete the entire file will I lose the settings I'm using ingame and revert back to the defaults for each addon? Or would they be saved and the file recreated when I log in next?
