Shield Gap

As I was traveling across Tamriel, I noticed all my shields seem to be affected by the same weird magic, causing them to float on my back....

The hip/upper leg armor does the same thing on my khajiit. Just floats off the side of the legs with nothing connecting or attaching it. It's wide enough of a gap to be seen through normal running.

That's because things like worn armor and shields on your back are designed to take into account all the different body sizes in ESO. The skinnier your character is, the wider the gap will be.

That would be true if Stellios Kontos wasn't a buff, max sized Altmer....with a huge gap...

Still not as large of a gap as in Skkyrim, I had to use a mod for that in Skyrim.

Try a really FAT nord. Then it will fit nicely. :)

(also the gap it takes into account not just the max body size but also the bulkiest possible armor on that body, so the shield does not clip into the armor)
