Maybe the EP bandwagon wasn't such a good idea now was it?
I seldom have any queue longer than 5 minutes on any AD campaign.
The lag is horrendous. Increasing caps when campaigns aren't full and the lag isn't fixed would be stupid and potentially ruin more campaigns than it helps. Sorry you picked the "popular" faction. Queues are something the stacked (highest pop) faction has to deal with. While you have queues, other factions don't and you just need to accept things how they are or roll on a different faction. Think Henge of Denravi from GW2 launch with literal 17 hour queues.

I know the population caps were reduced to help with the lag. There is still horrible lag and I think raising the pop caps back to what they used to be will just help more players get on the same campaign. Waiting in 100+ queues on a daily basis is no fun and people are not gonna home another campaign just so their queue is less. This was evident last night when the EP queue was over 200. Just raise the pop caps back to what they used to be and let the lag happen while you try to figure out how to cull the meteors and standards that are lagging out the server.
AD is now most populated since b2p... check all the campaigns at almoat any given time....Maybe the EP bandwagon wasn't such a good idea now was it?

What's weird is that even when Thorn is locked, as DC you get a pop immediately. But with Chill a lock means there's an actual wait.

AD the most populated? LOL
Somebody forgot to take their meds.
Your faction is the one with 100+ queues what does that tell you?

At times AD is locked on Thornblade, Azuras Star, Haderus, Chillrend, and Blackwater Blade.....what does that tell you?
The solution is ZOS needs to step up their game or suffer another exodus . The lag is absolutely EVERYWHERE on the weekends . One of my oldest friends and newest guildy is a IT specialist and given all the best hardware by his corporation . He was told by customer service to check his modem . He almost lost his cool with ZOS on the phone . He knew more then their help center specialists and we all came to the conclusion , they don't have answers to their server problems so their deflecting back on their customers . Now granted , some people are running out dates stuff but everyone I play with has brand new everything and we still feel the lag every where on the weekends .
So these , maybe polite "solutions" , from players to just swap some where else , I'm just gonna say thanks for caring but it makes zero difference on the weekends . The pop cap on TB is the same as all the others and is SUPPOSE to be set to handle that exact number of players .
Now if your telling people to swap because those certain groups don't crash pvp on the servers they don't play on then Ya , we are all aware of the choices . Still ... This is Zennimax's responsibility to find the solution .

C'mon now. Being an IT specialist; surely he should know that the people who answer the phone will not exactly be engineers other than maybe in name for a PR type of thing. Some poor *** (or bastardette?) sitting there probably making little over minimum wage and all he can do is tell people what his tickets logs say are the marching orders. Hopefully your buddy didn't go overboard.

That you don't know the definition of population lock?
