That havent played an MMO in 5 years. They are interested in ESO now that it is b2p. What would you recommend i show them that would get them to want to buy the game? I am only v2 (ad). I dont want to sound like a salesman when they are here I just want to show them some cool gameplay that would convince them to buy a copy of the game.
Thanks in advance
Do this. Nothing beats hands-on experience. Don't just show, let them play.Let each of them wake up in Vulkhel Guard with a new char (no tutorial) and let them play the starter island by themselves(!) for 30 mins while you drink with the other two next door. It's imperative that you give them a chance to get immersed.
Then after show them a dungeon run through the blessed crucible.
Don't show them PVP. Watching all that riding will turn them off.
Don't know though, I left shortly after beta due to the horrid bugs and exploits and came back a few months ago. Despite the shortcomings and problems, it was still more enjoyable than initially. So there might be a chance yet.Naivefanboi wrote: »That havent played an MMO in 5 years. They are interested in ESO now that it is b2p. uhhh theres nothing new that wasnt there already , aside from justice system. if they didnt want to give a chance before doubt anything you show them is gonna change that. never know tho, maybe show them the awesome stablitlity of cyrodil and dungeons? oh i know the crown store!
And make sure it isn't Bleakrock, that one's kinda boring.
I didn't dislike it, but it is less captivating than Stros M'Kai or Khenarti's Roost. The first has a pirate feel, hidden treasue chest and a nice small Dwemer part, the second is the most exotic and has Razum-dar, while Bleakrock has... just more snow and Nords. I had enough of that in Skyrim. The Frozen Man was awesome, though.

Of course, EP and DC have another starter area, but I'm talking about the first impression.

I wanted to slap Razum-dar a minute after meeting him.

You take that back. In fact, go sit in the corner and think about what you did.
