Bound still means you can use it on your other toons, just not sell it to another player.
This means the items are removed from the market. If they could be made un-bound, the market will be even more flooded then it is now, or items which you can only get from doing an instance would now be buy-able.

Its not that items are bound, it's what items that are bound.
Crafted Gear, I should be able to sell it after I use it. As it stands now, all I get back is one of the Temper used and some mats when I decon it. Gear that I make for someone else should be bound when they equip it as it is now.
BoE items are fine the way they are, you can sell or trade them if you don't equip them first. Most of the good stuff you can get more than one of, like the Signet of the Warlock or other dropped sets. Quest rewards, we all get those, players don't need yours.
BoP is the biggest bear in these woods. Dungeon Boss Loot is frequently BoP. However since each player gets a loot draw, this is OK. Unless one in the group does not get the shiney that someone else does. Not sure if allowing those items to be traded around is the answer for overall game play. Epic loot is no longer Epic if everyone can gain access to it. It just becomes standard equipment at that point.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I know it's never going to happen, but I would love that. I wouldn't have to place in the top 2% in PvP for what? 10+ months? to get the set I want (Vicious Ophidian). Only got two pieces so far from being top 2% every month since that reward system started.
