I would pay x Crowns for ...

  • Alannaofmars
    1. 2000 crowns for the motif matching the dark seducer costume
    2. 1500 crowns for the motif matching the golden saints costume
    3. 1000 crowns for the old redguard / orc motifs
      • As they already have the models this shouldn't take much developer time and my characters would be very happy
    4. 1000 crowns for an extra character slot
      • I assume there would be a limit, but as time goes on they could keep raising said limit and altaholics like myself would probably keep playing
    5. 500 crowns for specific dye colors
      • There are dyes for certain achievements that I like the look of, but I honestly I have no intention of ever attempting to complete
  • Arsaër

I completely agree with the dyes. There are a number of dyes I'd like to get but are locked behind pvp achievements. And I don't intend to do any pvp. The character slots however I'd feel would have to be much more expensive than 1000 crowns. With a megaserver we can't realistically have everyone with 30 or so alts. There needs to be a fairly steep barrier to keep the number of alts down some. (hell, on my own I would make as many as possible just to store a TON of crafting mats).

I would buy a house deed, or even buy a Guild Bunker/Tower.

Then after I bought my deed, I would buy work benches, dressers beds, etc...lol The same for the guild bunker/tower.

The ideas of name and alliance changes bug me, a bit.

Maybe this is more specific to pvp- but your name is your reputation. There are names on the field that I know I can trust, and names I know to avoid. If name changes are implemented, I'd want some indication that an alias was being used (like the sunglasses icon eBay uses for name changes).

I think alliance changes would only be acceptable if that character became ineligible for Cyrodiil.

And all the requests for housing and cosmetics make me wonder why people aren't playing Second Life.

All in all, less crown store, more DLC. I want game, not skins.

The most popular store items are (proven history)

    Costumes - #1 for sure
    Mounts
    Name change
    Race change
Faction change - Only one and permanent (to prevent switching for pvp bonuses)
Extra character slots - Though I personally think 8 is enough

I was thinking about pets lately...

I recently upgraded my account to the explorer pack, and noted that rather thant he scuttler, it now comes with a bantam guar. Now I did have a potential storyline in mind for how to account for the scuttler ... but it doesn't apply to the guar. So thinking about which character would like which pet got me thinking about summoned pets.

The first time I looked at "unstable familiar" and noted the change between scamp and clanfear, I presumed that was going to be a shape changing pet. Now I'd like to be able to add a shape-change to my summoned pets. In the same way that "riding skill" is a skill, and the appearance of your horse has to do with what horse you obtain (however you obtain it) I would like "summoned [critter]" skills to be basic skills, and then a diversity of critters available.

This being said, I would also like to 1-dismantle the class system and have all skill lines available to all players (some perhaps subject to quests to open them) and/or 2-allow people to "buy" pets that actually do something.

I'd pay about 400 for any given interesting pets - that seems to be standard.

I'd also pay 400 for a one-shot magic item that functioned as an "enchant familiar" on small animals already in game, sucha s squirrels, snakes, frogs, bunnies, foxes or mud crabs.

I'd pay 600 to get what would amount to a "skin" over a summoned creature.

For the morph of scamp, I'd like to be able to purchase (or purchase and then "enchant summoned creature") on a thunderbug, assasin bug, horavor, skeever, wolf - basically ground-based in-game animals/animations that do some damage.

For the morph of winged twilight, I'd like to be able to purchase (or purchase and then use in game to "enchant summoned creature") on a large bat, imp, harpy, cliff racer [despite hating this game's version of them].

The damage/abilities of the "summoned" creature could then be based on the summoner's skill so that functionally the spell was still pretty much the same, but it would be cool to reflect what critter the character in question tamed/bribed or "raised because they fell out of the nest". This would enhance roleplaying and immersion.

In the spellcrafting sneak speak they showed about a year ago, there were more summoning spells. I specifically remember there being a flame atronach one.

I'd prefer totally unique summons over paying for lame skins for a skill only one class can use.

I'd love more serious and humorous cosmetic changes, whether they're in the form of costumes or even permanent feature changes.

Race changing, Gender changing, Name changing and Faction (Not sold on this myself as it could odd and/or difficult to implement) changing would be great additions to the game also.

There's so many options to add into the game that I hope they do eventually make it.

What if you could pay some crowns to clear your bounty? Let's say you accidentally incurred a bounty of far more than you could ever hope to pay, and were thusly discouraged from playing your main character for weeks until the bounty went away.

This would be a good way for the game to encourage subscriptions, would be convenient rather than pay-to-win, and could allow Crafters perhaps not interested in the upcoming PvP aspect a way to bypass their assuredly undesirable demise by forking over a few crowns here and there.

    No.

This would be a good way to encourage players to act irresponsibly and annoyingly - as the endless watching of the guards chase after compulsive lawbreakers gets old fast - and thus weaken the game. Anyone saying that you "accidentally" incur a high bounty has some serious logic problems to begin with.

I guess some find it annoying, while others find it hilarious. But I get where you're coming from.
