The voices are tricky until I learned to listen to all the sounds before making a choice. I picked one voice because I like the laugh, only to find the grunts and groans and yelps were just annoying.
I'm not laughing at you OP, because the voice thing I can understand (I'm a one character type of girl and decided to redo my entire toon to look virtually the exact same but I had to change the voice)
But all of these "delete limit" threads are hilarious to me, because I didn't even know this was an issue for some people. There's just sooo many of them.

Back when the limit was first introduced there were a ton of threads on the subject. I remember a few in broken English that sounded suspiciously like some of the goldseller spam I'd been getting... though that could simply be my memory messing with me in hindsight.
Before the limit there were serious botting problems in the game. You'd enter a delve and see the delve's boss ringed, literally ringed with identical soul shriven rags characters. You'd walk into the room and they'd all fire off that first Aedric Spear attack or Assassin's Blade. The boss would drop dead, and it was actually impossible to complete the delve. You'd go someplace like windhelm, and see bots talking to a character, then zipping across town. Literally flying through walls and over buildings, to the quest turn in. There was no real point in reporting them because as soon as they got to their destination they'd mail their gold to a handler, be deleted, and replaced with new ones on the same account. And the unholy cycle would continue. So by the time you filed your report, the character would no longer exist.
Now we have Buy to Play, there's no subscription model, and... suddenly, out of nowhere, these threads start popping up. Then people, legitimate users see that and go, "hey, I want that too." And, here we are.

Yep, I remember the botters which is why I don't have a problem with the delete limits.
I just think it's so funny that people create and delete characters at such a rate that the delete limit affects them this much.

I realize everythings perfect on him, I'm double checking everything. I'm SO HAPPY to be starting him, perfect!
I get in game, mount up, and realize he has a little girly voice.
Now I hate my life. I don't know when I'll get another delete.
How the hell did I miss the voice thing? UGH.

Personally I'm female, but I have one male character (not listed) which I only recently started actually playing after he was just a "mule" in the bank for about half a year.
What I did not know all this time was how his voice sounds while f.e. in combat, and it's like as you said, a girly voice (at least sometimes) which is extremely annoying and also embarrassing (often I turn around to make sure no one could hear it^^).
You are not a Breton by any chance?
I wish we could change the character's voice along with the appearance (I have one other character where I would slightly change the appearance).
I'm sad.I realize everythings perfect on him, I'm double checking everything. I'm SO HAPPY to be starting him, perfect!

Ok, then it's not the exact same voice, I guess, but.. welcome to the club..
I hope you weren't too much into playing/levelling this character? I'm sure you can create the same perfect character again but with a voice you'll enjoy during your travels :-) Three of my characters look almost identical, with the slight difference that they are three different classes^^
I've never understood why all games make the voice selection dependent on picking between different versions of "WAAARRRGGGHHH!!!" rather than an assortment of situational speech extracts.
That said, I've also never understood why about 11 character creations (8 slots with 3 deletes) plus the same again on the other mega-server and PTS for those with an almost obsessive approach to character selection and plenty of hard drive space simply aren't enough. Use them to experiment and then pick the final choice, implement the design features and only at that stage apply the name of your choice. How ironic would it be if after all that the preferred name isn't available?!
And yes, given the absurd number of complaints about this, I cannot believe half of them and am highly dubious as to their true motive.
