Yea. I make sure to mouse over them before I start playing the game again after a crash. It's weird.

Hello there,

It is a known problem, basically, every time you open the launcher, it adds the icon to your tray.
This doesn't take up any background power or anything.

Yeah, I usually mouse over the second one. I don't think I've ever seen a third one, but that's more on me than anything else.

I no longer use the buggy launcher. Just create a short cut from the .exe and paste it on your desktop or start bar.

When you try to log-in after a patch/hot fix with the .exe. it will tell you you need to update, then you use the downloader, err.. launcher.

And immediately close downloader/launcher after the update.

Yeah I always have a leftover icon after closing the launcher; usually just mouse over it to make it go away.
