Crowns Token

I would like to know what you think of the idea of being able to buy with real money a token that represents a certain amount of crowns that can be used in the game to trade with other players for gold.

This is already implemented in other games and is to be implemented in other since I showed to be an efficient way to combat the sellers of illegal gold and at the same time, they are allowed to users who have gold in the game access to the currency used in the store.

Are in favor of this type of transaction?

This has be discussed more than once and even talked about by ZoS. They say it isn't going to happen and I know I don't want it. With that said it will probably happen at some point.

    1. This won't stop gold-sellers, it will just change their market price.
    2. Selling gold for cash is a bad idea. It will always be a bad idea.

Questions like this is why a store in a game is bad. There are players who just aren't satisfied until it totally ruins the game. I wish people would stop using other games as a reference to this one. Most of the crap in those games are why I am not playing them. Can we let the crown store be as it is and leave it alone? I have seen several post of people asking for things in the store that has been talked about months ago. I guess as I feared the F2P crowd is here.

Why it bothers you so much talk about this?

Talk about a topic in a forum not going to make it come true. I dont place an order or incites or promotion the voting for this new system, just ask everyone who think of a possible added.

If you do not agree, you can simply say it, dont give orders to other users about they can talk or not.

This is a bad idea , reason being most if not all the go-to items in the game will be valued in RL money instead of ingame money meaning most items that ppl want will be super inflated and unobtainable by those who do not exchange RL money for ingame money, atleast with the current system i can get things in a reasonable amount of time.. this system only helps players who have alot of money or players who have alot of free time, not the ppl in between which i know makes up for majority of eso's player base. .. plus it wont stop gold sellers so no point.

I'd rather they just sell items in the crown store that would normally be bought with in game gold. Like Alchemy Packs. But that's not why people want to buy gold for real money is it? people want to get a bunch of gold to buy high level gear, right?
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

Name a game that has this system and i will DL it, screenshot the gold spam and post it here, to prove this system is not effective.

    You're mistaken concept.

Combat is not to eliminate, combat is reducing its activity.

When an official and secure exchange offers money / gold, there are many people who face the risk of being scammed by an unknown chooses to invest in official token.

Illegal gold demand is reduced, thus the amount of gold accumulators that makes illegal sale too.

Of course that many try to cut prices to be more competitive with the official sale, but also is a lot of people with the possibility of a secure shopping stop consume any illegal services.

I will not give names of other games in forum TESO is simple find which are the games that offer such services are widely known and designated sites of interest related to video games.

How can anyone really take such a stupid idea seriously, is all that would come to mind.

What you're describing is what ruined several great mmo titles. I wont recount my horrible experiences yet again but perhaps and example is Aion Online, with the pack trading on the AH.

Convenience items that break the economy and remove any real purpose to game systems designed around trade at all.

These systems do nothing but appeal to criminals, hackers-botters and lazy folk who are so self entitled they cant even be bothered to play the game to actually reach competitive levels.

Net result, those who do work have their experience cheapened and quit. This was exactly the sort of thing I was glad pay 2 play allowed me to avoid.

In case I was unclear. No. I think its (insert relevant expletives here) a terrible idea.

The main idea of introducing an alternative in-game currency is to reduce gold seller activity, and to promote items through an in-game store for real money which deters players from purchasing gold from shady gold sellers. This whole idea becomes a moot point once that currency becomes available to bot-farmed gold. Nobody likes bots. You do not like bots. I am a giant floating eyeball. You hate bots. Look into the eye. You dislike bots very much. You will nod and say yes now. The eyeball so commands.

Sorry, but the game is ruined thank users cry demanding a game that requires no monthly fee.

We're at that point and no back round.

Now, the only way to continue is ensuring cash income and any option is valid.

I always support the system of monthly subscription, but the wishes of many come true.

As they say, relax and enjoy.

If you got to choose between buying gold at a farmer or ZOS, whom you buy him?

    For safety and support, ZOS.

This makes the business of the farmer is reduced, because we do not want.

At the same time generates an income of money to ZOS, which requires that thanks to demand the removal of the monthly subscription

Gw2 has an option where you trade in game gold for gems. Gems are used for purchasing items from the cash shop. You can also trade gems for gold.

By no means suggesting the above should be implemented into this game.

This allows ZOS some control over the prices as well which should discourage shady gold sellers. Especially if they can throw in some XP potions, mounts, extra bag space or other things which shady gold sellers simply cannot provide, ZOS is clearly the winner here. Also, I am a giant floating eyeball. Now stare into the eye. Yes, that is good. You like it. It is awesome.

This is a topic that gets people all panting and freaking out and crazy.

It's ridiculous that they have not implemented it, very stupid of them as it would have been extra income, and unfortunately they are allowing other companies to make that money instead of ZOS at the moment.

The people who come and post on here with things like

fail to realise is that all around them people are already breaking the EULA and buying gold, getting power leveled, buying endgame toons, paying people to farm items for them etc etc.

Paying ZOS instead for an un-bannable way of buying gold via selling crownstore items via gifting or tokens that cover them for one month sub is really the most sensible thing they could do.
