Questions like this is why a store in a game is bad. There are players who just aren't satisfied until it totally ruins the game. I wish people would stop using other games as a reference to this one. Most of the crap in those games are why I am not playing them. Can we let the crown store be as it is and leave it alone? I have seen several post of people asking for things in the store that has been talked about months ago. I guess as I feared the F2P crowd is here.
This is already implemented in other games and is to be implemented in other since I showed to be an efficient way to combat the sellers of illegal gold and at the same time, they are allowed to users who have gold in the game access to the currency used in the store.

Name a game that has this system and i will DL it, screenshot the gold spam and post it here, to prove this system is not effective.

What you're describing is what ruined several great mmo titles. I wont recount my horrible experiences yet again but perhaps and example is Aion Online, with the pack trading on the AH.
Convenience items that break the economy and remove any real purpose to game systems designed around trade at all.
These systems do nothing but appeal to criminals, hackers-botters and lazy folk who are so self entitled they cant even be bothered to play the game to actually reach competitive levels.
Net result, those who do work have their experience cheapened and quit. This was exactly the sort of thing I was glad pay 2 play allowed me to avoid.
In case I was unclear. No. I think its (insert relevant expletives here) a terrible idea.
The main idea of introducing an alternative in-game currency is to reduce gold seller activity, and to promote items through an in-game store for real money which deters players from purchasing gold from shady gold sellers. This whole idea becomes a moot point once that currency becomes available to bot-farmed gold. Nobody likes bots. You do not like bots. I am a giant floating eyeball. You hate bots. Look into the eye. You dislike bots very much. You will nod and say yes now. The eyeball so commands.

If you got to choose between buying gold at a farmer or ZOS, whom you buy him?
For safety and support, ZOS.
This makes the business of the farmer is reduced, because we do not want.
At the same time generates an income of money to ZOS, which requires that thanks to demand the removal of the monthly subscription

This allows ZOS some control over the prices as well which should discourage shady gold sellers. Especially if they can throw in some XP potions, mounts, extra bag space or other things which shady gold sellers simply cannot provide, ZOS is clearly the winner here. Also, I am a giant floating eyeball. Now stare into the eye. Yes, that is good. You like it. It is awesome.
Yeaaah....noooo....
