There is like 5 p2w threads on your forum board, any new player that want's to check this game out probably won't.

It's not healthy for your game and makes it look really, really, bad.

thanks.

Ever mmo game forums has the same problem. Whether it be multiple "we want (insert item)" threads, "the game is dead" threads "p2w" threads, "I hate this and I'm speaking for everyone" threads and so on.

Having these multiple complaining threads doesn't make the game as a whole look bad and doesn't scare away new players.

If I was a new player and I visited the forums before buying the game and saw all the p2w threads I wouldn't be like "Man look at all these P2W threads. Well the certainly lost a sale and a new player because there are a lot of those threads".

The problem is that the threads are all different replys under the same general topic.

If you have to do something, don't delete, MERGE.
As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.

You have NO idea how tempted I was to make a new thread "ZOS should delete threads that repeat topics"... but I didn't want to risk getting my hand slapped.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

No, there needs to be some serious ***-storming for a new player to back of. Couple of threads about P2W is no big deal, all MMO forums have that, including the silliest games like Hello Kitty Online lol. How do you even win that?

For someone to actually back of and start researching the state of a game (before installing), there has to be a bloody war in the general discussion. So far that only happened to me once, when I was thinking about playing Archage. That game even gets hammered in social media, bloggers and fanbois and you name it, than you know it's bad for real.

But yes, merging identical threads is probably a good idea, when staff has time to do so.
