Please, please, please give us a light robe with long sleeves and THIS neckline:
6eafdb9b-aed6-4bd4-923e-09a7ff57129e_zpsvnk4eayc.png

And with this type of fabric:

If you choose to do it as a costume in the Crown Store then PLEASE make it like the lootable clothing that you steal from wardrobes so we can dye it. It HAS to be dyeable! And no "hip flaps!" Those things just HAVE to go!

Anyone else care to "design" some clothing you'd like to see? Share your ideas please!

Maybe if/when they add in a Barbershop to change features they will add in a slider that adjusts the cleavage level so you can adjust it as needed.....

Another problem - you cannot buy/sell found and laundered clothing items in guild stores. This should be fixed. I don't see any reasons why I cannot buy /sell those items in the store...

I totally agree that these items, once laundered through a fence, need to be things you can sell in the guild stores. I'm really surprised they didn't think about the fact that people would want to do this.

I agree lose the hip flaps. Shoulder pads should be used sparingly too and never if they float off the shoulders. Actually remove the floating elbow pads too.

I was also quite annoyed that any clothing items I stole, when I put them on they replaced my armour and didn't use the disguise slot, making them useless really.

Can we have them as disguises please? :D

Can we have... the old seadrake disguise back?

I've given up on asking for the floaty shoulder pads and pointy waist bits to be turned off on demand. (No, not really. Add an option to hide shoulders damn it!)

At least, give us the old seadrake outfit which was far more consistent fabric and inspiration wise than the horrible mess that it is now. Before it was a long scarf with a vest (at times, granted, depending on where in the world you were), which fits the maritime background of the disguise and now it's an unholy cross between a bib and a onesie.

Edit: Morna's idea about dyable costumes needs to be implemented too.

Right now the problem is that only those items which take up an armor slot are dyeable. They didn't think about applying it to costumes when they implemented the dye system. This is unfortunate and makes the costumes have incredibility limited utility. I have not purchased a single costume from the Crown Store because of this. I have a feeling that fixing costumes so that you can dye them would be a massive undertaking at this point that ZOS just isn't prepared to give resources to. And I wouldn't really expect them to make the costumes you get via quests dyeable. BUT they should be working their tails off to make those costumes you can purchase from the store dyeable.

As to the lootable clothing, again, in order to be dyeable in the first place it has to take an armor slot. It's not meant to be armor but rather "civilian clothing" and that's why it's statless. Again, I think ZOS failed to consider that some people would WANT that look over their armor. And I doubt they are going to do anything to change it.

Or just add Costume slots like Rift has with the ability to turn on/off any of the 7 pcs from the Character screen and call it good.

I remember initially thinking this was just an ugly bug that would get fixed, but here we are a year later and still weird floating armor bits! Is it really intended to be that way? :confounded:

This one thinks the floating hip flaps may be to disguise the fact that female Khajiiti hips, even maxed, are often too slender and mannish. :o

Right? I remain completely baffled by this "design choice." If they can't figure out how to make them look right they need to just remove them. I almost bought the costume pack that has the low level Argonian light robe just BECAUSE it didn't have the darned hip flaps. Then I remembered I wouldn't be able to dye it. :(

My idea would be to have a second slot next to/over a normal armor slot to wear these new clothing which can be found everywhere over the armor instead of replacing it (but only show the clothing, of course). Problem solved.. ;)
Plus, it would be nice if we could hide these flaps and the shoulder parts like we can hide the helmet.

This would indeed be the ideal situation. I'm really rather baffled that they have not enabled this.

So this is another of my characters in another Medium armor top. I keep trying to figure out why only the leather stuff sets the "smexy" treatment now. And I'm REALLY afraid ZOS will take it away! But I would DEARLY love LIGHT armor tops like this that look like they are made of FABRIC and not leather. The only GOOD thing about the new Redguard Light robes and jerkins is that the "fabric" takes the dyes beautifully. Though still I think the khajiit light armors have the best "fabric" in the game and are really beautiful with the various dyes. I'd LOVE to see khajiit and redguard versions of the daerdric light legs, which is currently the only long skirt in the game.

And I'd really, really, really like to see a light robe, with sleeves, and THIS pictured neckline. Who's with me?
