... Of course, it's realy funny, when you see a crazy fat orc in a wedding dress driving guar, but... it is strange and sometimes even frustrating. Imagine RP-lover, who comes to the ESO world and sees such a player. He'll just say: "OMG, I'm turning this off!"...

If another player is upset by my choice to role play as Petunia the Prettiest Orc, then perhaps he or she would be better off playing a game that does not have other players in it at all.
More generally I do agree that it would be nice to have a male formal attire option. But I'd like this to be in addition to the wedding dress and work the same way - on female characters it would have the same appearance as on males.

I'm sure there is some other type of formal attire that would be more lore appropriate.

I think a silly overly tall top-hat, obnoxious old-style tuxedo jacket that's cut high in the front with exaggerated tails in back and a monocle is the answer really.

There were homosexual couples and Oblivion and Skyrim, Morrowind had Crassius Curio and of course Vivec, who is as far from heteronormative as possible.nerevarine1138 wrote: »Someone has to explain to me when heteronormative fashion became an integral part of RP.
Until ESO, never saw anything in TES that directly inferred homosexuality, .
Maybe, it's because TES setting is very close to the Middle Age, and in those times guys wearing female dresses were burned by inquisition? Probably.nerevarine1138 wrote: »Someone has to explain to me when heteronormative fashion became an integral part of RP.

Until ESO, never saw anything in TES that directly inferred homosexuality, and we saw the preponderance of female characters in dresses, while the preponderance of males (except for cults) tended to wear different clothing.

I'm not sure this information is relevant to ESO wedding dresses, just throwing it out there.
Shocking news: TES games are happening in a fantasy setting. Fantasy, as in not historical(ly accurate). Also, what @Rosveen said above you...Maybe, it's because TES setting is very close to the Middle Age, and in those times guys wearing female dresses were burned by inquisition? They will never do this!
Don't you know this game's armor designers are comprised of uptight puritan's slowly converting all armor pieces into baring for males and covering females from their chin to their toes!?
Cleavage!? ESO HATES CLEAVAGE!!! If they could get away with it they'd do away with all playable female characters, I mean in their mind boob's must be gross!
