Need help clarifying Werewolf 1.6 ultimate and stam attributes

My searches on the forums and google have not turned up an unambiguous answer.
1) I used to have my werewolf ultimate slotted solely to generate ultimate (as a healer), and then switch weapons and toggle the healing ultimate. Has 1.6 removed this? Is there any advantage or benefit to having werewolf ultimate slotted in humanoid form? Or is it now only meaningful in order to actually transform into a werewolf?
2) The benefits in humanoid form of being a werewolf from 1.5 -- are they still here in 1.6? I can't tell, but from what I read, the impression I'm getting is that in 1.6 there is no benefit in humanoid form from being a werewolf? Can someone please clarify and if there are benefits, can you say precisely what they are?

✭1) You are correct, there is 0 benefit to having the Ultimate slotted now. It's there only for transformation.
2) You still get the 15% stamina regen in humanoid form. This has not changed. : )0 -

If you are a WW, will fighter guild skill lines + poison work on you while in humanoid form?
