Vampires - A bad idea in high end raids?

Is this still the case? I havent run much of anything since they lowered the damage taken by fire, but I've heard it is still pretty brutal? Anywhere care to weigh in?

    I completed all the content in the game (except SO) as a vampire with a single purple fire resistance glyph.
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Not sure about raid content as I've yet to find myself a good active group, but at least Veteran Dungeons aren't as punishing as you'd think. I can manage all Veteran Dungeons just fine as a Vampire, both as tank and medium armor dps. Veteran Dragonstar Arena isn't much different. It isn't Vampirism that's gonna make or break your progress.

    "Fixed an issue if you had a summoned pet, it could potentially be grabbed by an invisible Molag-Bal and get stuck in a floating posture."
    "Dogs can no longer teleport while chasing cats (much to the disappointment of the dogs)."

    lions den is filled to the brim with pyromancers in cadwell gold, and i can get through it just fine, yes i have to be a tad more careful, but its nothing a skilled gamer cant compensate for if you choose the right build

    If you are careful and use resto as secondary and / or have fire resist on something, then you are fine.

    What's your gear when you tank? Heavy?

    From my limited experience with Vampires, I'm inclined to say the are a fairly major playstyle consideration for high end content. Though, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
