Leveling horse skills

Hello guys,

I have begun with leveling an alt and instantly checked my horse roster, I quickly figured out I would need 180 days if I want to get the horse to the max level.. And in my opinion that is a bit much, especially since the horse speed gives a very noticeable advantage to someone that has it maxed out and someone who hasn't. So for that reason I would like to make a short suggestion that would keep the activity intact but add some options for those who want to level their horse faster (without it costing crowns).

Give us the option to rank up 1 skill a day for 250 g and every other skill upgrade for 25k per one after that. This should give players a chance to actually level their horses faster and it will add a nice gold sink that gets some gold out of the economy.

If anyone has feedback on the idea, that's always welcome.

25k is a bit steep don't you think?

I would like to be able to upgrade more than one stat per day, considering I used to be able to level my PvE (carry) and PvP (speed) horses both, every day; but I can live without it. I definitely wouldn't pay 25k for it. I would pay something incremental like 250 for 1st, 2,500 for 2nd and 10k for 3rd.

Well 25k is just a number to give some direction to the price. It shouldn't be "cheap" to bypass it. But I think 5k for second, 10k for third, 15k for fourth would work. It adds some diminishing returns to the leveling. It will also make it possible for most people to catch up 2 to 3 times as fast.

Just a thought, how about just one upgrade per day per stat?
250 for first, 5k for 2nd, and 10k for 3rd.

Also a possiblity, I think someone that has lots of gold should be able to bypass it. It will get lots of gold out of the economy instead of flooding it just with more and more gold causing huge inflation in the long run.

And @rosveen, I don't farm gold and I make 20-30k from vendorsales a week, that's with 2-3 hours of playing. So should be possible ánd it's clearly not aimed at new players but at old players that already have a main but want to level an alt.

It's not that hard to come by. You just need to decide where your priorities lay and if you're willing to put in the extra effort to make the money required for the upgrade.
