Starting Crowns

I wanted to ask the community before I submitted a ticket. I am getting conflicting information as to how many crowns we shoudl expect. I have been in the game since day 1, and I have used the 6 mont subscription payment plan...in which I have already paid twice...for a total of twelve month paid up to May 5th of this year.

I started with initial 3500 crowns like most people and another 1200 crowns the other day. However I am hearing that some people are starting with 8k and 10k crowns.

People starting with 8k and 10k crowns most likely purchased an atrocious amount of game time cards and applied them to their account in order to get the senche. They have a lot of time left on the subscription, which is worth 1500 crowns per month. That's why they got so much.

I started April 21, so and gained about 1500 crowns more than you (I think). This would have been due to me having more time in the "subscription left" department, which as I mentioned, is worth a lot more crowns than previously elapsed time.

You get 500 for simply having the game/active sub/something.

You get 1500 for every 30 day period in progress after March 17. In your case that would be two periods (April 5 to May 5, March 5 to April 5)

You get 100 for every month you paid for prior to TU: two 6 month subs would be 1200.

Unless I'm mistaken your total should be 4700.

Edit: if people have more it's because they have more months paid for than you before needing to pay again (for example I started with 6200 because I had three 30 day periods running during March 17, giving me 1500 more than you).

I must confess, i got all these starter crowns and then had no idea what to spend them on. The Crown store so far is rather underwhelming (I would appreciate being allowed to be a change in appearance, so maybe I should just keep my crowns for that).

Not even the Dapply Gray horse?

mha i spent 12euro aswell for buy some costumes just for hide my set. but are so ugly-_-' the armor under the costume is 10x better.

I love that horse. I also liked the Yokudan Charger. When I logged in and saw all the cheesy nightmares running around I didn't even immediately check the store because I assumed all the mounts would be garbage. I was so glad a few tastefully designed mounts made it in to the store.

I renewed my sub in February with a 3 month and got 6200 Crowns to start. Bought 3 pets and now I have 5000 and nothing I want to spend them on.

You got:

500 for the game

1500 for each of the two 30 days coming up (March 17 to May 17, rounded up)

1200 for the prior subscription. This seems high to me.

Thanks MizzBizz, that makes sense. Hopefully more stuff comes out before my next resub in May. Once you have a nightmare mount and seneche and a draughr costume the rest just seems lacking =-)

Knowing the changes coming to the game and happily subscribing since day one, I pre-paid 6 months of sub time. As a result, when ESO:TU launched, I had just over 12,000 Crowns. Yes, that seems crazy, but remember, those like me who did this and have all these crowns won't get any more for 6 mo. ( Or whenever they are paid thru).
