The rest ride the Imperial white horse or the awesome black horse I bought in game. My dunmer rides his guar charger and my khajiit rides his striped senche. I also use pets according to race, so my dunmer would use the pony guar and my khajiit the senche panther.
About the nightmare horsie, I plan having it in the future, but by now I'm happier with racial mounts : 31 -

✭✭✭✭✭Quar ChargerI voted for the guar because it's the one I spent the most time considering, but I would probably have voted "other/none of the above" if that was an option because in the end I went for the white mane horse instead.
I didn't qualify for the senche, but for some reason not having it doesn't bother me. Even if it cost the same as the nightmare charger I'm not sure I'd get it.
