Is phasing not fixed?

Last time I played, phasing kept me and my friends from playing together if any one of us moved ahead or fell behind on certain quests. It was a huge turn off. I've decided to give ESO another shot since Tamriel Unlimited has been introduced. Have the devs fixed phasing to where I can help friends complete quests that I've already done and vice versa?

Phasing now works very well for the most part. In some areas, though, it will always result in one person being in a different phase from another depending on whether they have completed part of a quest or not. This is because in some areas certain mobs or NPCs will either be present or not depending on what stage of the quest you're in. This is inevitable, but it doesn't affect most quests.

    yes and no.

If you both have completed the area, you will be in the 'leaders' phase.
If you are both doing a quest in the area and you pick A and they pick B and that changes the area, they will phase out and you can't see them or help them.

So some areas you can now help a mate if you have already done the area, if you make THEM the leader, but not all the time.

Also a lot of instances are now marked as solo or group so you can see in advance if you can help them or not.

So in summary, they did improve the phasing but its not perfect and there will be times they just disappear still.

Yep, still broken ... unless all in the group are at the very same level, none having completed any quests others in the group have not.

    Thus ... still broken.
