✭Yep, an Orc Sorc is pretty worthless without the 10% movement speed buff they took away so long ago.I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.0 -

Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis1 -
Tamanous✭✭✭✭✭Race means nothing really. Class is the hard line that should not be crossed. I foresee ZOS adding this some day as the reason for choosing a race are bound to passives that affect combat those passives constantly change (without patch notes evidently). Race change should be subject to race alliance choice restrictions depending on the account but not change faction of course.
The only justification for not allowing it is to nerf all passives into non-combat themes bonuses which may also be a route ZOS is thinking about. As it stands though racial passives and their continued impact on place choice and frustrations when changed is an issue ZOS cannot ignore.0 -

Then you obviously weren't impacted by the stealth racial passive changes. To some those changes had equal impact. Read my post above to understand why race choice is an issue and why ZOS will always have issues with it. If this continues players will always have to right to ask for this race change option because the reason they had to choose the race vanished when the game clearly was designed with the inclusion of race for min/maxing.
You still play the same faction and you still play the same class if the race changes. This is not a real impact on anyone else or faction balance. As I said, ZOS can either remove the reasons behind why players feel pissed over such stealth changes against the very reason why they chose a race or they can remove these reasons entirely. They simply cannot ignore the degree of impact race choice has on the game in it's current state.

Especially since my (now stamina build) Dunmer gets zero benefit from flame talent...why is it only spell damage??? (But it is apparently bugged again anyway, so oh well). AND got a nerf to fire resist as well, there is really only one Dunmer passive that is useful for me, which is pretty disappointing. Than again, I'm not sure how much money ZoS would actually make by selling this service. Every race change is also someone not re-rolling. Re-rollers might end up spending a lot more than 2k crowns in the future

PS) Yes, Argonians did have their only great passive nerfed on top of having the way potions work in-game changed entirely as well, making the so-so passive that it was replaced w/ pretty terrible overall.
That's pretty much the only reason I'd like a race change for my VR Argonian that was changed for me (this is not the race I chose anymore) after a year of playing and investing in her.1
