Suggestion : Prenup of Mara

While I've been sitting on these wedding bands of xp gain since launch , I've just never been able to work up the nerve to break Em out . Past experience has left me resistant to binding contracts . I did it once before and I said I'd never do it again .

So I propose a safety net . A prenuptial agreement . So if I get (omg I can't even say the M word anymore) do "that" in game and the other player decides to bail , I can get my ring back and cancel the contract ...

I would fully expect the Pledge of Mara to be a purchasable item in the crown shop very soon.

So while they probably won't ever allow a "Prenup-of-Mara" option, at least you could get a new one for a few dollars worth of crowns.

Whatever the cost of a new Pledge turns out to be, I'll bet it will be less than what it cost you IRL...

I think it should be as simple as using the ring with however many you want to use it with. If you want to spend the $ and get a new ring for each of your 50 friends, that's your business.

I keep on mis-reading the title of this thread as "Pin-up of Mara". So now I expect an in-game calendar that I can get: "the Pin-ups of Mara"

Isn't the justice system a pre-requisite to this? Once the Justice system is fully in place, we can have prenups, divorces, and everything else we need to place contingencies and make alterations of life changing contracts. Of course, all the money will go to the "Arbiters of Mara," who will charge exorbitantly just to make sure the other person is only awarded half of everything you've worked for.
