Very interesting approach to their recruits and very fun to spend time IC and OOC with. Definitely worth a look at if you want some RP while in Tamriel.

I've been looking for a roleplaying guild for my new character in the AD and when I googled it this was the first link and seeing as the last post had its small size I am interested in joining this merry band of players.

Upon your arrival to the docks of Vulkhel Guard, you catch a glimpse of a glowing note sliding across the ground. There is a very nasty storm on its way. The clouds are dark and the nearby Daedric anchor at Iluvamir Dolmen has taken root. You grab the bright paper just moments before the wind's levitation would've whisked it away...

If you care to read the note, it reads:
My guild is looking to hire combat-trained citizens, blacksmiths, and merchants. Twenty-five gold awarded in advance and plenty of benefits. If you wish to join, bring me a good meal and we'll talk. Apple Pie, Beef Stew, Charred Skeever Meat, Black-Briar Mead, Nord Mead, and Mammoth Steak are foods I like. Find me at the Harborside Market in Vulkhel Guard at a time when the sun brightly shines over the water. I will most likely be enjoying a nice tankard of mead and the tales of others as I sharpen my bloodied axe. If you do not see me there, do send mail expressing your interest.

Such "glowing" recruitment notes have been found all over the world of Tamriel, posted in the strangest of places.

What are the requirements for joining Roots of War?
There are four requirements to joining the guild. These are the only four:
1. Aldmeri Dominion
2. North American Server
3. Mature Language Skills
4. RP Required

Note: We tend to use "Say" chat and "Emote" chat for RP. We understand that some people like to use "Group" chat to perform their RP privately. We also use the mail function for RP as well, especially for daily tasks.

What types of RP are allowed?
All forms of RP are allowed. But explicit RP and discussions of explicit RP should be kept off of our chat channels. Think of our guild chat aligning with the game's "M" rating. RP is not an excuse for failing to abide by the code of conduct and terms of service of ESO.

Do you plan on hosting any events?
Why wouldn't we? If we get enough members Roots of War plans on hosting a mega PVP-RP event in Cyrodil where we will fight off our opponents with nobility and bravery. We also plan to find a undisclosed location where we can meet often- a headquarters or town or homebase or something where all of our members can meet and interact. In addition, the guild master tries to RP frequently with everyone, so little events are frequent. We also have frequent "guild job offers" which are activities that players can participate while in or out of character and still contribute to the guild. If you have any ideas, let us know! Weekly events are posted in our message of the day.

If you're interested in joining the guild, make sure to contact Inaka in game via the whisper function or (preferably) by mail. All mail is preferred to be in character. Or, leave in-game contact information here in this post, however we do not check this thread as much as in game mail. We'll set a time to meet and RP your character's entrance into the guild. Note: North American Server and Aldmeri Dominion Alliance are required to join.
