4 Stamina Skills and Need 1 Magika Utility, Advice? Nightblade 2H / Bow Build

I currently am a high Stamina build NightBlade 2H main Bow 2nd. Below is my skill bar aside from the last, which I want to be a Magika skill.

Ambush
Wrecking Blow
Surprise Attack
Momentum
"Insert Magika Skill Here"
Soul Assault

This is my PvE and PvP build

I am trying to decide what utility skill to use to make use of the Magika bar I have, NO damage skills because my magika damage is trash.

Thinking between

Shadowy Disguise
Grim Focus

Any other ideas to try? Please post which Magika utility you would use and why, I am a full medium armor and Stamina build.

Reapers Mark, Mass Hysteria or Shades? Neither of them requires magicka to make them more powerful and they're fairly handy

Also whacking on Siphoning attacks can help in dungeons whilst spamming brawler to keep up shields.

For trolling I would suggest shades.

Fear is good and reapers mark

I also like Grim Focus for stamina regeneration and berserk. It lasts 20 secs and cost low magicka

Impale (the magicka morph) is also usefull. I used killers blade first, but
    - or I was outa stamina so it failed
    - enemy was to far away and I failed

Yes, you do less damage I think because it's magicka but more then enough to kill people with it when they have low health.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I would remove Surprise Attack, and replace Soul Assault with Soul Harvest. Then slot Mass Hysteria (you get Major armor and spell resist buffs when casting this) and Mirage. For PvP, this gives you much better defense capability, but still allows for great DPS.

EDIT: Impale is also a good choice

If you use relentless focus, you get an 8% damage buff, and a 10% stam regen. It is also an assassination ability so it grants bonus crit.

Shadow cloak can be a great defensive tool when it works. It has an agresive morph that makes your next attack a guaranteed crit, and a defensive morph that purges three damaging abilities. As a shadow ability it gives you hp for being slotted, and bonus resistances on activation.

    Others that I recommend are;

mark target for the resistance debuff and heal upon enemy death. You can morph it to give sight on your target if they stealth, or a bigger heal and a damage bonus.

summon shade applies a damage rebuff to a target and drains their stamina if they are blocking. Maybe not the best choice, but the morph shadow image can give you some good maneuverability.

For PvP, I rcomend the mass hysteria morph of aspect of terror. Fear may be one of the nightblades strongest abilities.

I don't think I would recommend just one... switch them around depending on the situation.

How useful is Mass Hysteria? Seems like it just makes the mobs run away from you, which I prefer them close for melee but love stuns as well.

Excellent information, I am now down to deciding which of these I want to use.

    Mass Hysteria
    Relentless Focus

Which would you pick for PvP Mass hysteria or Relentless Focus for a PvP Nightblade Stamina build with a focus on melee and secondary bow?

Bar plan so far, revised from the input you guys have given me.

    Ambush
Wrecking Blow (how often does this land when you can block?)
    Surprise Attack
Vigor (Stamina heal from Allaince war tree)
    Mass Hysteria ~OR~ Relentless Focus

    Soul Harvest ~OR~ Soul Tether

Also, for the shadow barrier passive, should I throw on two heavy pieces of equipment to increase the duration and add a little more armor?

How long does the fear from Mass Hysteria last and how good is it in PvP? Can you consistently spam the skill to keep enemy players fears? Does it have a cool down on feared players?

Why remove Surprise Attack? Gives 40% armor reduction and has fair damage?

    I would go with this
    Skills in use
But it strongly depends on enemies you're facing.

Fear lasts in line with the tooltip in PvP, and players get an immunity afterwards.
Unlike most CC skills though, Fear goes through Blocking which makes targets vulnerable in a variety of situations.
It is expensive to try and spam on a Stamina build though.

Like Relentless Focus and Mirage as utility on Stamina builds; extended duration buffs are magicka efficient in most cases.

Since the bar in your original post is a Two Handed bar, probably Mass Hysteria (or Mirage/Double Take).

Relentless Focus is nice for the minor buffs, but personally prefer the overall skill on a Bow bar.

I would even add in Cripple, you hit anyone with this and they wont be able to get away from you. It gives you a 40% speed increase and snares the target by 40%, I use it just for that but it also has a DOT damage which just like a bonus since your a stamina spec.
