dragon knight armor?

I was thinking about making a dragon knight. From what I've read they can do great damage in the fire line with a destruction staff. So I was wondering if I do make one would I be using light armor and putting all points into magic and health? Just wanted to make sure I'm right before starting.
Or for a dk is there a more viable option? I really don't like 2h weapons other then staves. Thanks for any tips!!!

✭Dk Magicka Build = Light Armor
If you decide to PvP then use two pieces of heavy or once piece of medium and one piece of heavy with the rest of them being light, this will help you get better overall stats because of the Undaunted skill line passives.Aldmeri Dominion For Life!

✭✭I second everything above and just wanna add: make sure you choose dunmer for max caster DPS. You just can't touch the synergy of their awesome flame damage with the DK. If you're looking for something a little more adaptable, try imperial. Imperials have great racials if you want to be able to do pretty well @ most anything on a DK. tanking, caster, even stam if you wanted to in the future.0
