Costumes disable bound armor!?

Bound Armor is now TURNED OFF when you apply a costume, and of course when you turn it back on you can't see your costume! When did this happen? You used to be able to apply a costume over it.
Won't buy costumes till fixed.

o_0✭✭✭✭A couple still work, such as the Skeleton, and the Kollopi Essence (sorta). But now that this is posted, I'm sure ZOS will "fix" it.
But I agree, if ZOS wants people to purchase costumes, they should allow them to be displayed no matter the circumstance. IMO Bound Armor should give an affect similar to other toggles such as Magelight. A simple graphical enhancement to let you know it's up, but still allows players to enjoy the appearance of the character they have invested time into.

✭Bound armor should have a toggle to display the visual in general. I would love tp use it on occasion but the visual is pretty terrible compared to the gear I crafted and dyed.0 -

I didn't understand it either until I looked it up. Bound Armor in this case is a skill. I thought it had something to do with armor that is bound to you and that made it confusing.

Niminion✭✭✭When I played during release, I could toggle bound armor and then apply a costume or disguise and it worked fine, until you zoned. Then I had to remove costume, toggle armor, equip costume again. This was fine because I could use either look depending on what was applied last.

Bound armor costs a good chunk of stamina or magika not gonna toggle it on and off all the time between fights. I'm not gonna buy a costume that I can only see during my hourly visit to town either. Considering the store is based on selling vanity items, it's not silly. I actually want to see it during combat. Not saying I am gonna quit the game but if they want any money for costumes from sorcs that use bound armor this needs to be fixed.
