Is snipe worth it now, or is venom arrow 4 better to stick with?

Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

✭Also Venom Arrow interrupts casters, whereas Snipe is a damage skill.
If you do a lot of PvE group play, many situations require you to deliver an interrupt, especially to healers, if you cannot kill them RIGHT NOW.
The next question then is which morph of Snipe you want. Focused Aim or Lethal Arrow. The former gives you even longer range and a splendid sound effect when you use it. The latter delivers nasty poison and reduces your target's ability to heal or be healed. Thus it's a useful skill against people.0 -

✭If you are going to use bow then snipe has it's place. However a heavy bow attack does serious damage and gives back stamina, weaving in light and heavies will see you gain ulti too. Something to consider.
As others have said, venom is fantastic as it's a great interrupt for casters. And, for what it's worth I'd try bombard, stops your enemy in their tracks, and eats their stamina if they try to break free. Your target also gets a 40% reduction in speed which means that if you are on the battle field with others, your target is pretty much dead thanks to someone else in many cases.

I will probably try out pvp again soon, I just haven't friends to play with, so I am waiting for a guild that seems well established. In pvp I will probably die right away if I go in alone 0 -
Takhistis✭✭✭In PvE my NB 2-3 shots everything from behind with Reaper's Mark, heavy stealth bow attack, Snipe and again Snipe/Impale. If multiple targets, just freeze with 4th bow skill morphed to freeze in place, or magnum shot to just stun 'em for 5 seconds or so.NA-DC-NB VR1 Ilythrian
