Yea, it seems they are named the same but are the MAPS the same? I'm assuming they are but I would like to know for sure.

Everything is exactly the same as the Explorer's Pack except the pet, which is a Bantam Guar instead of a Scuttler.

I would assume yes, as you can find all of the other treasures from maps more than once as long as you find another of the same map (ie: Deshaan Treasure Map I, etc).

However, I'm not going to be getting another Explorer's Pack - oh sorry, Adventurer's - Pack, so I won't be able to confirm this for you. : P

Can we please get an actual official answer to these questions so we aren't just assuming? 1900 crowns is a lot to just gamble.

1: Are the maps in the Adventurer Pack the same maps that were in the Explorer's Pack?
2: If so, and we have already used the Explorer's Pack maps can we find those treasures again with the maps in the Adventurer Pack?

I hate tagging MODs, I feel like it's rude.... but I'd prefer to not have to keep returning to this thread in hope of an answer that should be pretty straight forward.

    So...

Yes, you can find them again. I was hit with the bank space deletion bug in the first month of the game, part of that bug was having the Explorer's Pack and Rings of Mara resent to me when my bank space reset to 60 slots. I was able to open and use both Explorer Pack maps sets. The treasures weren't that good, certainly not worth $19 so the only real reason to buy the "new" Adventure Pack is to get any race in any alliance and it sounds like you already have that..

Yep. I do. I would probably buy the Adventurer Pack "some day" out of boredom to have a reason to visit this areas again if they are the same maps. If they are different maps, consider me sold!

They added a different pet and renamed the pack, to them this makes it a completely different pack all together and was all they needed to justice this nonsense.

Those items in those packs suck, past VR levels, I am using the maps as I clear the VR zones, and most of the items are not worth using, IMO that is not the reason you would get that pack.

    Hi Treasure Hunters!

We just wanted to let you know that the treasure maps from the Adventurer Pack are identical to the maps from the Explorer's Pack. The maps are marked as unique items, however, so if you happen to have some spares lying about from the Explorer's Pack, you'll need to either bank them or use them prior to opening the fresh new containers from the Adventurer's Pack.

Thanks for the information. I'll make sure to use all my explorer's pack maps before getting the Adventurer Pack.

    I appreciate the response!

    @ZOS_GaryA

Why is it possible for players with pre order editions of the game from last year to buy the adventurer pack for 1900 crowns when the only thing were missing is the guar pet which is already available in the crown store for a lot less than 1900 crowns?

Any chance you can set the adventurer pack to "unlocked" on those players accounts that already have all the other items in the adventurer pack since it is 99% identical to old pre order editions / imp editions of the game from last year?

You might get a lot of confused players wasting 1900 crowns on something they already have....

The loot is the level of the zone it is found in. It's not a must have if that is what you meant and it's not OP in any way.

Based on the info above that these are the same maps that pre-orders got, no, the loot isn't relevant to endgame. It's leveled for the zone the map is in, and it's nothing special. All you're going to do with the loot is deconstruct it to get tempers.

The Adventure's Pack has 22 maps, while the Explorer map only has 4, are the other maps similar to the collectors edition maps? Will the maps be purchasable by themselves later?

Because they are obviously entirely different things and no unhelpful seditious parallels should be drawn between the two.

...for a more pragmatic answer, precluding people from buying the Adventure Pack a second time would require ZOS admitting that it is, in almost every functional way, identical to the thing they said they wouldn't be making available for sale in the Crown Store. I am not sure that ZOS has any desire to do that.

It is impossible to find anything you would use in end game from these maps. There is a slight chance to find something you might consider using while leveling.

Both the Adventure pack and Explorer pack have the same number of maps in 4 bags. They are completely identical in every way even in the location of the treasure. The only difference is the "pet" so they can call it a different name so people who pre-ordered a "unique" item cant sue them.

The only slight chance you might have of finding something for endgame in these maps is possibly waiting till you were ~V12 and using them all in hopes of getting Warlock gear (or whatever level range the set you're going for might be, doesn't have to be Warlock).

There are a few dropped sets that are useful, but they are pretty rare.

I certainly wouldn't spend cash on just a teensy tiny chance at maybe seeing 1 piece of a set I can buy from most guild traders. But hey, to each their own.
