Hello @ZOS_GinaBruno & @ZOS_JessicaFolsom,

Is the 10% bonus to crafting research a reduction in research time or more inspiration for when the research is completed?

Exclusive character progression bonuses for the duration of membership
10% bonus to experience point gain
10% bonus to crafting research
10% bonus to crafting inspiration gain
10% bonus to gold acquisition

    Just a FYI to pass along to the people counting money at ZOS. Once my research is done there's nothing worth while for me to continue with a Subscription. The minimal gains I receive from the other bonus IMO aren't worth the cost. I've gained a whopping 3 CP since 1.6 game out so the 10% XP bonus to me isn't worth it. I've also maxed all of the Crafting professions I want to so extra inspiration is pointless for me. Also, the Crown Store will not have anything that I would make me want to spend crowns there so staying Subbed for those isn't worth it to me either. Unless the DLC content is a huge cost, I don't see anyone staying Subbed for that either when they can save money and just buy it. By buying it, they will NOT lose it either if they get a sub for a little while and then drop it.

    They will need to make some drastic changes IMO for people to stay Subbed.

    For the gold acquisition, is that gold that drops from mobs and is found in chests? Basically, literal gold as an item? Or will vendor trash, like foul hides and daedra husks, sell for 10% more? Will stolen goods sell for 33, 110, etc., instead of 30 and 100? Just not clear on what "gold acquisition" entails.

    Good question. I always assumed it was just gold dropped from mobs and chests, but it might also apply to things you mention, and possibly quest rewards.

    The huge XP changes started making sense when TESO Unlimited was announced, personally i had always the feeling that they would change how fast or how slow you gain EXP in preparation to the transition to the unlimited(B2P, Buy to Play ).

    That said its good to know that the 10% Research gain impacts the Research time(reduction on how long it takes to complete a research).
    If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

    A true gamer will think of all the possible outcomes and execute the one that is the hardest to accomplish.

    I'm a fan of the 10% xp bonus because I'm hoping it will stack with the ring of Mara for CP gain. ?? Also, the gold question is a good one. How is there at 10% increase in gold? Is it just the mobs or is it from all gold gained through npc vendor sales, chests, quests etc.

    We're double checking with the Dev Team about the 10% increase in gold. We can confirm that the 10% XP bonus does stack with the Rings of Mara XP bonus.

    Given that the vast majority of gold earned is from quest rewards and selling all the crap items and gear you get as drops from mobs, if the only thing that is increased by 10% is the actual gold dropped from chests and mobs, that's not really going to be worth it.

    It should at the very least includes quest rewards, but it would be really nice if it also made all the stuff you sell to NPCs increase in value by 10%.

    To be honest I always saw the 10% increase in gold benefit as one of those "meh, I don't really care" benefits, but maybe that's because I just assumed that it would only apply to drops from mobs and chests.

    Which is good as I have just started my Woodworker/Clothier researching Blacksmithing. By the time this goes live, the 10% will really start to matter. I expect to be well into the 4th trait in a week.

    I would but I need to see something in return for it. The only updates we've had is to the Justice system which is fun but doesn't make up for no new content. By new content I mean zones, dungeons, pvp areas. I would gladly keep paying a montly Sub to fund those things and NOT a Crown store/constant updates. The things that people love to do in the game are going to set aside for the Crown Store. The fact that this patch didn't include any new content just proves that imo. They could have easily added new Delves and Dungeons to the Zones that didn't already have them. That would have at least been something new for us to go enjoy.

    While I find your attitude commendable, you do realize that ZOS made your payments voluntary, don't you? This is (partly) why I was always against F2P. There is no accountability when there are no clients - just voluntary contributors.

    10% is 3 days earlier than without it.

    Also yeah, 10% gold from mobs and chests... meh. Gold is really easy to get anyway so this becomes even more trivial all things considered.

    I will tell you this though, the harder they make this game, the more player driven economy (via farming, real crafting not this dumbed down crafting, etc) this game becomes the more I will happily "volunteer" money to them.

    No, the bonus is specific to those two characters. https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6785/
    Of course, if you both got the Imperial Edition and one of you still has the pledge, you could always go through the rite again with the new toons.

    The 10% increase in gold applies to the following:
    • Quest turn-in rewards
    • Treasure chests
    • Loot off monsters
    • Lockboxes (Justice System)
    • Loot off of slain citizens (Justice System)

    It does not apply to the following:
    • Selling items to merchants (this is what the Ornate Trait is for)
    • Buying back items from merchants
    • Cyrodiil end-of-campaign rewards
    • Gold received from mail

    What about it? You want more gold from that? Does it make you 10 % more worthy a PVP'er because you are a paid subscriber?

    They are slowly making PVP better and needs to concentrate on the lag issues more. Let them work on that for the next 6 months and see if they can make it way better instead of messing with something that could cause more bugs.
