Optional Voice Chat on PC

I was very disappointed to hear that Xbox One and PS4 users were getting voice chat when we are here grouping in the confines of a keyboard, or finding a guild that has something like teamspeak or mumble - Which many people are reluctant to get compared to a built in feature. Like, You have the logic all written out, and clearly have the servers to host it. Half the work to get this done is already there for you, All you have to do is code it.

Built in voice chat for PC is a major step forward, As it gives the ability for group dungeons to be done more fluidly and leads to successful game play. And for RP players it is a perfect dream! So, Please just add in the option!

Thanks, Bc.

You're not the first to ask, but this is highly unlikely.

The majority of MMOs don't add in-client support for voice chat because there are already major players like TS and Ventrilo that are far more efficient (and have the added benefit of not using game resources to do the same thing).

I guess, But it is such a hassle and takes away from the game experience to have to tab out and such for the programs.

Wouldn't mind but I can already hear people arguing that it would break their "immersion". The tech is obviously there but given the current comments about instability, probably best saved for the console release so that the servers can balance out the influx of new players. Remember, when you deal with In-Game VOIP, it too is relying on server resources so if the server starts freaking out then there goes your voice chat. TR did a terrible job D:

Then make it P2P, Yeah it will be more of a challenge, but it takes the load off of Zenimax and puts it in the clients shoulders, and just choose the quality of the sound so you can match it to your internet speed.
