Forming groups and dungeon crawling or going into PVP battles is what I find most enjoyable about mmos.
This game feels like i have to quest, quest, quest to get any feeling of reward in ESO.
There should be other viable ways to level from 1- v14 like the other mmos on the market. I love ESO but it is very limited.
It feels like ZOS is dictating what I should be doing since they made XP gains so bad in all the other options.

Does anyone else feel this way ? I really want to play this game with my friends but all we seem to do is get online and solo quest because we are all different levels. The dungeon scaling is a fantastic way for all of us to play together except it doesn't help us catch up to each others level so off we go solo questing again...

We pray this since launch and nothing happened. They slightly improved the phasing and group thing but it's still a torture to play in a group.

ESO has been named Single-Player-MMO with a reason.

Coming from someone that got most of their 14 Vet levels from Vet Group Dungeons, I can assure you there are other ways.

I just recently completed Silver (main line quests only, very few side quests) to open the Gold zones.

You can quest, you can grind, you can PvP, you can do Repeatable's (Trials, Dungeons, DSA, and others).

They're supposed to be adjusting the XP's from the content you enjoy, so that should help.

You're inevitably going to get some level spread between you and your friends, unless you opt not to play unless they are online. This only works so long, unless you're all about Alts.

Honestly, just proceed at the pace you proceed at. You (or they) will catch up - once you hit 14, you hit 14.

A little level difference can be accounted for in the Vet content. If it gets too far gone, scale it to the mid or lower person.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

They keep nerfing XP gains from grinding and they buffed the XP from some quests.....so yeah they want you to play as they want...

There are different ways to earn XP but the some are far less rewarding and feel like work rather than fun.

I have been solo questing on my Vet and have completed cadwells silver and 3/4 way through gold and have only made it to vet rank 3.

Its just a shame because one by one my real life friends are dropping the game because they dont want to play single player they want to level at a rewarding rate whilst playing together.

I have managed to get one of my friends to try the game again but every time I look over my shoulder he is using google to search for a different game to play.

    Except at VR10 it becomes a 1990s group-or-GTFO-to-level game.

    Is that for questing ?

They really need to allow players to level with their friends at rewarding rates.
Dungeons and Cyrodil allow friends to play together no matter their levels ( well except vet and non vet pvp).
This is what they should focus on since it is meant to be an online mmorpg.

No, I guess he's referring to Grindlorn, or Craplorn depending on the naming tastes.
You know, an hugely overnerfed region (nowadays you almost don't get XP or stuff from kills any more) whose only reason to exist is to force you into hours long, nerve wrecking LFG to do the 100% group only content that it's so worthless nobody sane of mind wants to touch with a stick.

So the nerf to craglorn was because players were grinding there instead of doing cadwells quests ?
ZOS wanted to make sure that we were forced to use the content they provided for the cadwells quest line but this just made the Craglorn content worthless.

Players seem to solo when they want to actually level and know that if they did form a group to PVP or dungeon crawl that this would waste precious leveling time.

Is there still a limit on the number of daily, repeatable quests you can complete each day? Previously, that limit was in the low 40s. If the limit is still in place, then Tamriel Unlimited is a bit of a lie, is it not?
