Veteran Zone Difficulty?

I played the game at launch with my brothers. I got up to VR 10 at the time, but it was an extremely unpleasant slog as we all found the ramp in difficulty to be a bit much. We had trouble soloing most of the content and were forced to group up. That was sort of the intent of veteran ranks, if I remember correctly. They wanted people to group up.
I know things have changed a lot since May. What all have they done since then to make veteran ranks less of a slog?
I never had an issue with how long it took to level up. Doing all of the quests in a zone pretty much guaranteed that you would hit the next veteran rank before moving on. The main thing I'm concerned with is difficulty. Is it more viable to do the stuff solo now?

✭✭Simply the veteran mobs, quest bosses are nowhere near as powerful. Solo play in veteran zones is fairly easy now. You might need help with dark anchors or world bosses/champs. Honestly, you can run just about any class/spec with any gear and faceroll pretty much all solo PvE fights now.
In Cadwell's Gold I forget to even drop my ultimates on boss fights because they die so fast.0 -

It was a lot different. Difficulty was nerfed. Can well remember how much of a nightmare facing a group of three containing an archer, pyromancer & healer would be.Your immersion is breaking my entitlement. Buff Sorc's. Yes, they nerfed it hard due to player concerns. Unfortunately as usual they nerfed it into the ground, way more than was necessary in my opinion.
They did the same thing with vet dungeon difficulty...instead of tweaking a couple of fights they nerfed them to the point that just about anyone that isn't afk can complete them.0 -

Difficulty was soften in veteran zones, and it should be easier0 -
NovaShadow✭✭✭✭✭Veteran zones are way too easy now if you ask me. I can solo everything in the zone (save group dungeons) and have this past week as I leveled my girl through her vet ranks.
The original difficulty was fine but there were people that complained so much the zones were killed and once Crag came no one visits them anymore so you rarely hear about their difficulty.
Personally I think they should buff the zones a bit. Make them more difficult because as they stand now they're way to easy.PC NA - EPHS0
